So as opposed to revitalizing a game using a proven method that create a surge in activity, you guys would rather just let the game slowly die? The number of players that came back and was active during each of those weekends was hundreds more than what the game was pulling at the time, and it seemed like it was back in its prime. Heck I got over 30k bounty points playing during Nooga weekend, one of the main contributors as to why I was able to get wanted in such a short period. Now all the lobbies are dead (Partially due to a number of exploitable hacks, partially due to no one wanting to play bbh with angrye), and instead of taking the opportunity to save my beloved game you guys would rather sit around doing nothing?
There is a simple solution, put on the website a statement saying that within a certain time period all accounts that haven’t been logged onto in ~long will be reset/banned, and go from there. That way if an older player logs on wondering where their accounts stats went, they were given fair warning, and have no platform to complain. I’m not familiar with how banning etc works since I got rejected hard from being a mod, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be difficult to implement a program that can autoban/reset accounts from a certain time period.
Maybe its too late, maybe boxhead can’t be saved, but I would sure as hell like to see one more hurrah and the lack of optimism and the same ■■■■■■■■ answers you guys are giving is irking the hell outta me
