Look At This For Castle!!!

I shall now release my secret behind my pictures in this thread. I edited ".sol" file that castle saves in your computer. I have made a step by step tutorial that I put some time and efort into it so any comments and donated XCash is apreciated. I'm currently working on a table for SRPG.... If you have any questions feel free to ask....

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) Game Saves- You MUST have a save file for Castle on XGen! That means you must play Castle on XGen and play at least one level and save the game. If you want to do it for a different site then you have to find it's save file on your own.

2) Finding the .SOL file-

Windows 95, 98, 2000, etc.- You WILL NOT find "CastleX" unless you are able to view hidden files or folders.

How to show hidden files and folders:
Open 'My Computer'> Click on 'Tools'> Select 'Folder Options...'> Click on the 'View' tab> Select 'Show hidden files and folders

Any form of Windows XP- (Step-by-step searching tutorial)
Bring up the 'Start' menu
Select 'Search'
What do you want to search for?- 'All files and folders'
Click on the 'More advanced options' drop-down link
Check off 'Search hidden files and folders'
Search for 'Castlex'

First Download ".SOL Editor" Here

Then go into your start menu and select search like so..

Then type in "Castlex" in the search bar and click on the folder that pops up.

After you open the folder there should be one file in it labled "xgencastle".

If you click on it it should automaticly open with ".SOL Editor" but if it doesn't it will pop up a "Open With" screen. Just select ".sol file editor". It should be the first one on the list and check off the "Always use this program to open these files".

Now.... The program is open and your ready to edit.. Click on a value to edit it (Refer to the chart at the bottom)...

Heres the chart of values:

Go online and click on the game (After you press save) and press "Load Game".

And there you go... HAVE FUN

dont worry this is fully functional no skamms no virus and im no hacker so its free easy to use and most importly free!!!
