This is a guide to help you with artmoney and cheat engine (this guide is for artmoney, cheat engine will work too though.)

first download artmoney, seach for it on google to find the webpage (it is free unless you decide to buy it for some reason), then open artmoney, and the selected game you wish to use it on. Under the select proccess tab choose the game\process. then you can seach for the value you want to change. lets say your palying some game and you have 500 coins, so seach for the number 500. it will probley come up with alot of results, so then in the game change that 500 to a different number(bank it, spend it, drop it,etc. then click the "filter" button and seach the number you changed it too, it should come up with a few, if it has more than 5 adresses still, keep repeating the proccess. if you want to change the 500 coins( or whatever value you have)to lets say 1,000,000 coins, right click on the adress(s) and the and select the edit value button, then type in 1,000,000 .in te game, that 500 coins should then change to 100,000(you could also do this process with items, or alot of other things.) then right click on it\them and "freeze" it\them, that makes the address stay there, and then ta-da, you have 1,000,000 coins.

You only explained the 4-byte method and with the exact values only.
Not all games work have a 4-byte value type.
Also, not all games have the actual numbers shown for health and w/e. For example, the health gauge could be displayed with a bar but no number.

But other than that, it's a decent guide for beginners at memory editing.
