Default Help, Please.

I'm addicted to chewing tobacco. I mean it... addicted. I can't stop, and every time I do the withdraw symptoms are terrible. What is a good way to stop?

I started about 2 years ago, and the longest I've gone without is 3 months. I did it as an alternative to cigarettes, but got hooked. Help me, how do I quit?

I feel like not helping you since you hate me but oh well. Use an alternative, non addictive thing to chew like gum or candy. You can also try one of those drug centers for help...

As SalsatheGeek said, try gum. There's something for you to chew on. If that doesn't work, try doing things you enjoy to distract you from it.

Quick solution.

Google Image search"gum cancer".

You should be cured, unless you go blind, in which case you won't be able to find the tobbaco.

Problem solved, either way.

Nicotine patches should help. Also, try to find a substitute. Something like gum, hard candy, beef jerky, sunflower seeds, and other stuff like that.

You really should break the habit though, your whole face can get so messed up from that stuff. Chewing tobacco is just as bad as cigarettes, basically. I've heard of people who had to have surgery has a result of it, and have had their whole jawbone removed lost most of their teeth, etc. Not good...

A good way to solve all your problems is to go on XGen and ask what to do.

Seriously though, try chewing something that won't harm you, or that you like. If that won't work, stop, hammertime. Or err... stop, if you feel an urge to chew the tobacco, punch yourself in the face, or arm w/e...Until you stop having urges.

Get the nicotine gum, not the patches and mimic it as if it were tobacco.

Then, eventually work to using the Major League Chew stuff, it's supposed to be gum that's similar to tobacco.

Well, if you really wana be badass, get rid of all your supply and just try to control your mind to not let you go to the store to buy more, and just go cold turkey.
