Default Video driver issues.

This is rather complex.

For Hardware Problems:

Type of hardware and manufacturer: Nvida GeForce 6150 SE

Details of Problem: Ok, well today, I reinstalled Windows Vista Basic after some slowdown issues recently. Everything was fine, except the video card drivers. When I tried playing Team Fortress 2, it said I needed to update my drivers. However, it was stating that my video card was a GeForce 6100, which is incorrect. So I went to the Nvida download driver page and went to download the driver for the correct name of my card, and the installer could not find any drivers related to my hardware. Next, I went into the device manager, and it also said the card was a GeForce 6100. There was no Nvida icon in the control panel either. After this, I tried playing TF2, and my FPS was low, dialogs were missing, and the graphics were all ####ed up (it was really trippy).

Steps already taken to Diagnose/Remedy the problem: Restarted, got drivers, and ran virus/spyware scans.

Additional Information: I run Vista Basic x32. I have low FPS and graphic errors on other games as well.

Remove all the old drivers before you try to install new ones.

Running TF2 on Vista with a 6150? Go back to XP.

How could I safely do this?

EDIT: I uninstalled the drivers, and it still is not working.

Does the wierd graphics only happen with certain maps? When I play thre TF2 fort everything goes blue and black but on other maps its fine. I'm not sure how to remedy the problem but if it is just certain maps you could avoid them.
