...because if you are, I'm inclined to agree. I think such attributes as benevolence, malevolence, intelligence, and the lack-there-of can be seen, with a practiced eye, in the eyes of a person. Indeed, it would appear to be something that is recognizable across culture and/or race.

That's not to say things are black and white, heck they aren't even a gray-scale - life has colour.

Exactly what I was thinking. Another possiblity is that she simply had the wrong assumptions about certain questions and used process of elimination to figure out which ones were wrong - and then forgot which ones were which. She may not have had access to the information needed to pass, or couldn't read it (from illiteracy or aging eyesight). Maybe it's timed and she took forever to finish it.

And then there's the possibility that she'll kill several people during the driving portion of the test.
