Default Very annoying bug

I remember playing Motherload a couple of years ago and absolutely loving it, so I returned today to give it a shot again...annoyingly enough, however, whenever I go to any of the shops on the surface, their window pops up, but after a second or two it just closes by itself. For fuel and mineral drop off this is ok because if I time my click properly I can still hit the "refuel" or "sell all" button quickly, before the window closes. But I definitely cannot buy upgrades of any kind because of this...

Thoughts?

It's an ingame popup. Popup blocker has absolutely No effect on it.

This is the first time I've heard of this. The only thing I can suggest is
make sure you have the latest version of Flash Player and whatever browser you're running. Let me know if you still have problems.

Also, make sure there isn't a poltergeist just clicking close just to mess with you.

No, it wouldn't be affected by a pop-up blocker, the pop-up is within the Flash applet, as Grunty said.

I've got the latest versions to my knowledge...maybe I'll try it in some different browsers and see if that helps.

Interesting, try cleaning up your hard-drive, remove any known viruses, turn off any security settings that don't allow you to play Motherload Goldium, other than that, that seems to be a newly discovered glitch in ML.

Hey Lumino,

The shops close as soon as any key is pressed on your keyboard, so perhaps something on your machine is issuing a "keypress" at regular intervals or something?

That is the perfect answer. Sorry if this thread is bumped
