S-RPG 2: Canned?

I've been wondering what had ever happened to S-RPG 2, they said it would come out around 2005. That was 2 years ago. They started to announce it in 2004. Which is aboue 3 1/2 years ago... It didnt even take 3 1/2 years to make Halo 3. (BTW halo 3 is complete, just not to public)

So, i'm just saying, WHEN THE FUH ARE WE GONNA GET S-RPG 2?!?!?!?!?!?!:confused: :confused: :mad: :mad: :confused: :confused: :mad: :mad: :confused: :confused: :mad: :mad:

Yeah, it was opened when I joined I think, but that was YEARS ago, then I stopped coming here because I came here for SRPG, I loved it, then I heard SRPG2! I was stoked, didn't come out, they are failures, I quit coming, then I'm here, checking in posting once in a very blue moon. It's never coming out, I was all into it and hoping/waiting ever since I heard about it mid 04. Game designers for it are failures, everyone wants it, and they let people down, failures, pure failures.

Turns out that at the moment there IS only one person working on it. He's the graphics designer, but he also has a full time job so dont expect this one for at least another 6 months.

Yes, and the last news post there before the April 18th one was back in 2006. People have stopped checking it because it is so rarely updated. I'm willing to wait for them to release the game, though, as long as it happens within the next 5 years or so.

Yeah, sad but true. If you read all the news posts he did you can see that he's really busy. On the bright side, there's alot of pics so you can see what the game, if completed, will look like. Even if Stick RPG 2 was XGen's main project, it would still take awhile due to the sheer complexity of the game. Sweet pics though. :-)

oh wow. I didn't realize that I'd been with Xgen for so long.... i remember when the stick rpg forum first appeared. Everything was all like "w00t! SRPG2!!!!" and so now I'm wondering.... what happened? Is it still that one guy on it? We're halfway into 2008 now.... it's been what? 4-5 years now? I'm gettin old here people.

We should all know that the apocalypse won't happen for another 2 billion years or so [it never happing being much more likely], therefore, we should stop saying that it'll happen in [insert year number here], and therefore, we should just live while we can [while waiting for it to happen], instead of panicking when the time isn't right.

on topic: the game will come out eventually, kind of like the apocalypse, only more likely to happen
