the more u do bad stuff the darker the color
the better you do the lighter the color

Read the FAQ. It means you're character has been doing good things. Your karma has been increasing.

Karma:

white-light blue= good and nice person, angel
regular blue and such= normal or satisfactory
dark blue - purple or red= bad,killer, devil

Yeah, exept there aren't really these things, there is karma though, I once got my karma to -1000, I am pure EVIL. I just kept killing people in bar fights and robbing the bank. I also killed the kid.
