Of course no one should go a day without their towel, but make absolutely sure on this day you know where your's is.

And remember to get pictures of you and all your friends with your towels.

lawl, someone celebrating towel day AND having friends. What a funny concept

Me and my friends are buying two mile long towels and soaking up the Atlantic Ocean with them in honour of this momentous occasion. Hah, just kidding, I don't have friends.

Funny concept indeed but it's also nice they are giving a tribute to him.

Is that the puchline? Is it an insider joke for all of the grammer nazis?

If that's the "puchline," then the "grammer" nazis must dieing of laughter right now.

>_>

It's a pretty funny premise - someone celebrating this and gaining global participation. Made me smile.

The "punchline" as it were, is the concept of someone thinking it's a good idea to celebrate an author's history by carrying a towel around with AND having friends.

The "grammer" nazis died when you said "dieing."

Well, Douglas Adams' death was tragic, and I do support tributes to him.

But I'm so tired of Hitchhiker's Guide references now, that I can't see doing this myself. People need to stop and realize that referencing 42 really isn't that hilarious.

Sigh... Or maybe that's just what I get for going to a engineering school. Carry on.
