just think of it positively. We may have lost 1million troops if we had invaded inland Japan. Plus that is the bomb in its testing stage, so its not totally about all the ppl it killed

Truman perpetrated the myth that 250,000 people might die. Really, possibly only 20,000 troops would have died, not 250,000, and certainly not 1 million.

Just my 2 cents.
