My little neighbor, whos like 4 or 5 caught three salamanders. So, we put them in a decent sized tank with about an inch of water, a peble little beach like area, and two rocks to make a shallow plateu. My question is, what do these little buggers eat? Also, i'm not sure of the enviroment. They keep climbing the sides and getting dry. Are they just trying to keep warm or are they just dumbasses? I'm pretty sure salamanders like moist places.
