CD T.V. - Flash video player

Hi guys well I thought I would share something cool with all of you.

I created a media player a while back, it's an online browser one, but the cool thing is I made it into a standalone application thats downloadable.

The reason its so cool, is that it uses my online video database, even the downloadable player, and it auto-updates library information, so you never need to download or update it again.

So you can watch very high quality movies and tv shows in the browser, or download the player for full screen high quality videos.

I will look into it, right now Im just mostly going through my dvd library and some other odds and ends.

Some shows are vhs quality, and some are dvd quality.

saw 3 is more vhs, were as saw 1 is dvd.

But for now on, like taladega nights will all be dvd quality.

well I do alot of freelance work but my 9-5 brings me about 53K yearly.

I dont claim any freelance work tax wise so Im not at liberty to say how much I make off it.

Glad you like the software, honestly I didnt spend alot of time on it. Didnt really think people would like it that much, just thought of it as a nice way to share some videos.

But maybie I'll spend some time later to make it really cool. I just dont want anyone to have to download the software again, so mroe than likely any changes will just be to the menu.library area since thats whats kept on the server, its not actually downloaded as part of the software, its downloaded when you start the program.

On there. It is dvd quality though it may not seem like it in the first minute of the movie, not sure why but the intro looks a bit polygonish to me.

Im running at 1650x1050 so lower resolution monitors may get a better experience.

Unfortunetly I dont know where you live, nor want to mail it to you, s I figure I'll let me friend watch it via flash.

Now having it publicly enjoyable, that may not be so legal.

Not really sure of the ramifications. But for years people push the envelope on this type of thing. Fortunetly I generate no revenue form it, so hoepfully that will help if say I ever would get sued.

Let just keep this between us friends, and hope nothing bad happens.

If my movie list hits 1000+ and everyone and there brother knows of it, then I get worried, But till then, I'm not so worried.

Matt, yes legallity is of improtance, but let's try to just enjoy making things and see what we can make thats cool and people like, I am sure no ones out to get me for having 4 movies on a website and some freely available tv shows. Its not YouTube, I dont have billions of visitors and media files.

Look how long it took lawsuits to hit YouTube and they been booming for a long time. So enough legal talk k?

I havent seen the wow episode of south park..so I went to see it.
clicked, the firewall was saying there was bandwidth, but there was no loading I could see..only tried once tho, and my connection is kinda slow. so after 20 min, I didnt see anything and gave up for the day.

ah, yes its streaming video, so you should see something immedietly.

Next time your firewall comes up, hit unblock. or try right clicking the program > properties > unblock

no no..it didnt block anything..its a bandwidth profiler..so everytime I send or recieve packages it tells me..
what server do you use for it? you developed one for this?

This is running on creativededication server. huge bandwidth, very fast.

in youTube and most media players, if its downloading a movie, you can see how much percent is done or a bar with low alpha
i would suggest adding something of the sort to yours, other than that, if you need some TV shows, just pm me

I thought it was so funny how the mean guy was running around naked.

I do that all the time on my rogue. I been playing wow so long that almost everytime I duel the loser says its my gear, so to piss em off I get but naked and use only one wep, and still own em, I love rogues.

I got pretty good at fighting naked though, I got exulted in all 3 bg's during the old system got rank 12 and the last 2 months I played naked nearly everytime, it got so boring.

I remmember days when my guild would do full naked groups, we had this one guy who would wear a purple dress on his male paladin, god it was so funny.

I hated the old BG systme, but its thoe days that I still miss.

Edit: I can't seem to skip into a movie .. I watched some of taladega yesterday, and i can't seem to return to where i was.

The videos stream, so if you close the the connection for longer that 2 minutes, more than likely you have lost the stream and thus all file info is gone, meaning the movie will have to be restarted.

If yo want to download and save the movie as you watch, thats a different story, and an option I do not have available.
