Hi. I'm new to the XGen forums, and I want to know all the rules, and what the *&%@ sigs and pms are. Please reply so that I can understand stuff around here. :(

http://forums.xgenstudios.com/viewtopic.php?t=18070 is a list of the rules, for the forums overall at least. You'd do yourself some good to read rules that appear in every thread before you post, even if it gets repeptive. It comes in handy. Sigs are signatures, they are generally referring to the images placed below each member's post, specified by each member. Some make their own, some ask others for some. Pm's are private messages. Basically, it is a form of private communication between two members at the forums, on a topic that is either irrelevant to the threads, or is just private. One thing, which you did, is fully star out swears. It is preferred that if you choose to swear you use ******'s only, as it makes it less of an eyesore. Also, be sure to make your post in the right forum. This is the general forum, and has stuff to do directly with the site. I think this'd do better in the Newb's help forum, if a mod is reading this. Don't worry, of course. That's not bad. You just made a minute mistake, and trust me we've all done worse. Welcome, and enjoy. If you have any other questions, don't be afraid to post.

For starters, you have no reason to call him a n00b. He hasn't even done anything wrong. I guess that makes you a n00b.

And second, he had no reason to bump this topic, making him more of a n00b.
n00b
Is that what you are?

I believe the correct term would be "newb", considering he is a newcomer. Welcome to xg- enjoy your stay.

Considering he is a newcomer, the best term is newcomer. Wow.
