First you insert the key. Depending on the type of transmission your going to want to turn the hey away from you. If there are three pedals press and hold down the left most one, this is the clutch. The engine should now have started and you'll be idling. If you're in an automatic car (only two foot pedals) you'll probably shift by pulling a lever towards your self and then down to the corresponding letter P-Park R-Reverse N-Neutral D-Drive 2-2nd Gear 1-1st Gear. On a manual (The three pedaled variety) there will be a lever between the front seats. On it should be a diagram of what gears are where. The numbers are forward, the R is reverse. To shift in a manual press in the clutch and move to the lowest numbered gear. Then apply gas while letting up on the clutch, when your RPMs get too high shift to the next number up by pressing in the clutch, shifting and then applying the gas while letting go of the clutch. In an automatic simply press the gas.

Put the game disc in.
Go past the menu.
Sign in.
Select a driving mode.
Select a car.
Choose the track.
Press "A".
Press "A" to accelerate.
Use the joystick to control the direction of the car.
Pay attention to the yellow arrow at the top of the HUD.
Pay attention to the mini-map an the bottom right of the HUD.There you go.

Then when you have that you can go to the car outside your apartment, click it, and it will say hotwire and if you have enough somthing will pop up and then you can drive it with c.:D :D :D
