i know how to have an avatar the one i have is from another site and was animated. So i saved it but it wasn't animated here. can someone help me with it so that it stays animated heres the link to it

Animated avatars are not allowed here, except for a few people who have had them for a long time.

No they aren't. You just can't have sound without a 'play' button.

Yep. But Squidude's and Ice Punk's avatars are still the awesomeness of the cat's meow condensed in 100 x 100 pixel blocks.

Oh, and animated sigs aren't banned. I just switched mine three days ago from an animated one with a pair of Chuck Taylor's.

I have a NewGrounds acc and Xgen Forums acc but i have NO idea how to get an avatar... But i have a suggestion, make something like a flash movie about 5 seconds long and in a small square big enough for an avatar, make anything u want... I think it should work.

Allowable file types are jpeg and png. If you can figure out how to make a flash animation into a jpeg or png, I'd sure like to see it.
