To my understanding Freddy comes into and can control the real world in this movie.

You know though, there won't be a winner at the end, it's not the way companies make movies. But just think about it.

Jason => No one's been able to kill him. Very determined.

Freddy => CONTROLS WHATEVER ENVIRONMENT HE'S IN, has powers resembling those of magic, very determined, also yet to be killed.

Just looking at the bare facts you can realize that there's no way Freddy could lose, but since this is a hollywood movie, neither of them will win in the end (It would have to end one of their franchises, which means less money, which means it won't happen because they're all greedy bastaqrds who'd rather make a buck than a great film).
