About Interactive Buddy (from the creator)

Hello, I stumbled upon this forum and found that many of you are interested in IB. I was wondering what you would like to see implemented in future versions of the game (the current version is 1.01 and can be found on both Newgrounds and deviantART). Also, I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have about the game.

Also, some of you may be (understandably) skeptical that I am the real creator of the game, but if I have to I can positively verify it.

Here's a question: What's "instances of assistance" ??? and does StrawberryClock ever say anything?

And this game's great!!! To improve it, 1.) make more speech bubbles 2.) make the speech bubbles go away when you wave your mouse over them 4.) more graphics. Here's an idea: When the buddy gets electrocuted, make little blue lines of electricity appear over his buddy.

You should be able to eventually kill them, but it should take an EXTREMELY long time to do so... It would be nice to just chop pieces of him apart as well... :)

How about a damage bar? It'll heal over time, faster than normal, you can give health packs....if you kill him, then you 'lose' the buddy, and can reincarnate him or do something...ZOMBIES!

Wow. Aren't we demented? I have but one request. After use of a hose, the area should gradually be able to fill with water. There could be a new mode with the room entirely filled with water, and if you were to use the gravity shifter or the gravity vortexes you could get the water to form a sphere around the center of gravity (like how the oceans form a sphere around the Earth's core).

You should be able to feed your buddy to make him fat, poisoned, or maybe... mutate in some way... :twisted:

make them duel. then you can drop a sign that says love, they hug. a sign that says peace, they dress up like hipies and have a meal of tofu. a sign that says prosperity, they build a building and work in that building.

the buddy could also have mental/nervus breakdowns and seisures (<i dont know how to spell that)

make a cliff and drop him off.

For example:

If you drop an explosive, then soak everything with water, then electrocute him, it will cause him to get shocked, and blown up in a huge explosion.

Robot Training Buddies! And Dummies!

You can also give your buddy weapons such as knives and maybe a chainsaw.

And maybe some more items, like a little arrow bar that leads to other wierd items like computers that blow up if you set them on fire, cars to toss on him, and just more items!

The ideas I have...

Better weapon images: all the guns looked like pistols
Weapons you should add: ak47, desert eagle, m1a4/m16, awp/awm/???, crowbar, spears, ninja stars
Heath: you can buy the heath script so your buddy will have heath and when he dies he re-appers
buddy attacks other buddy(so if the more than 1 buddy thing happens this can go with it)
skins: F.B.I agent, N.Y.P.D, gangster
Interactive buddy should be made downloadable so you can mod it.

i would like more ways of making him happy, backgrounds the buddy and u can interact with (like dustbins u can pick up and lob or cats) other people that come on screen and interact with the buddy (like mugging him or giving money)
or maybe make a multiplayer thing if possible that lets u bomb other buddys or make them happy
you could also give him really random objects (like toilets, bog brushes, big stiks and stones you could hit him with. realistic water. :)

I've always thought it'd be cool to have a 'buddy room', that you would go to by buying the portal and somehow getting your buddy through. Once you go in, you would pick a server. There would be different rooms for different servers. Now, in each room, would be a place where buddies would visit, and talk in their own language. Owners of the buddies would be able to talk with each other. Also, a backround selection. Clouds, river, stuff like that. Oh, and an item creation screen. Pay 200 dollars, and you can make an item by combining images, resizing, giving color options, saying what it is (baseball properties, bowling ball properties, custom properties, the properties would show how Buddy reacts to the item.). Does it fall, does it fly? Is it on fire, or does it taste like rye? You set the properties, buddy reacts!:D

short sword(hits and gives 1.00$ per hit.it costs 10$)
long sword(double of short sword)
curved sword(triple money gain,15$)
and the best sword of the lot,and would be my personal favouirite...LIGHTSABER!
(does 20% per hit,costs 1000$,and to alter colour would cost 10$.or 1010% to get a differnet coloured lightsaber.(the base lightsaber is red(REVENGE OF THE SITH!)))
And also they cost 750$ each,a tv,dvd player,and spome dbds.and then it shows a dvd buying list.each costs 10$.except the 6 star wars episodes.they cost 5$ and if you buy them for oyur buddy it halves the lightsaber's cost!
i like the lightsaber BECAUSE it's one of the two star wars weapons

His devianART page says he's busy and stuff, his last post on that page(which was a while ago) said that he is working on releasing teh source code.
