I don't know what to call it. But you will be able to get guns, health packs, cheats. You know, all that junk. I would like some suggestions however. Now, I don't have anything mentioned above, so don't suggest those. This is what I have so far (http://img152.imageshack.us/my.php?image=healthtestzm5.swf). So yeah... Any suggestions?

What well the point of the game be?
It seems alright now other than you get hurt just by touching him and even if he's dead he still hurts you.

If you go from behind it looks like they are having sex. And if you go the front, well solid objects shouldn't be able to pass through other solid objects.

That's not enough info. Does the game have a storyline? What kind of idea is it based on.
It seems as if anything I do, I get hurt. Where's the fun in that?
I hesitate to call this a game.
Also, Jared's right in his description. From behind, my person bounces, which looks like humping. From the front, you just pass right through your opponent.

Dude, speaking from personal experience, I can tell you that its not a good idae to start making a game without a plan of action. I have a dozen or so scrapped engines that I gave up on entirely, ranging from rpg to multiplayer online to button masher to themed for a tv show to shooters. All those engines were almost perfect, but without a solid plan they burnt me out faster than a toaster on speed.

Some suggestions:
--Start with the basics. You need to give the character a way of hurting the enemy without automatically losing life. I suggest giving him a weapon of some sort that won't damage him when it hittests the enemy.
--Once you've got that, you'll need enemy AI. Once again, start simple. I suggest having the enemy slowly move in whatever direction the player MC is in in an attempt to touch him (and thus damage him). The player could counteract this by having every successful attack push the enemy backwards a bit.
--Work on the GUI. Make it clear which character is which, and how much life each has. Even if you don't want the enemy's health to be displayed in the final version, the enemy needs a health bar while we're testing it out just so we can be sure everything is working correctly.

for the hitTest instead of having it hittest the whole person jsut have it hitTest the circle so a person can just keep punching and moving and yea

You should add walls and sacks with dirt and crouching so that your person could hide from enemy that’s of course if you'll make a bazooka m16 glock and 'ole katana
Also add some themes like Vietnam:
Weapons: Katana
M16
Frag Grenade
Ak
Use imagination
Storyline:
Your name is _____ you are an elite paratrooper that was dropped to Vietnam to stop communist activities, while you were dropped your partner ______ was blown by wind to opposite direction so now you'll have to beat the hell out of native sand save your friend.
Oil Rig:
Some terrorists from ____ band attacked one of _____(country’s name) oil rigs, will you Stick Stickinson able to stop them using various weapons and equipment? there are 3 levels the first one you're in harbor infiltrating terrorist HQ and Disguising as one of them( before you disguised you made some butt whooping, next setting is a boat that is speeding through water you reveal yourself and terrors are trying to kill you again some butt whooping, final stage is a boss with bazooka that’s trying to shoot you while you are hiding behind whatever you find but apparently there are Gallons of oil in cans right behind boss which he doesn’t seem to notice then you blow them up and win the stage

Hm. I just noticed, the character only rotates when you move the mouse. You can't just leave the pointer over the enemy and let him strafe around it. That'd be nice if you could do that, especially since you're planning on adding guns.

nice i could try to make some graphics for you but i dunno if you'd like them, also i found a cheat to not get hurt, just sit so when you punch it just touches him then keep hitting him

Oh--well that should be obvious. It triggers onClipEvent (mouseMove), so if you keep the mouse still, it isn't going to trigger. I'd find some way to make that into a loop rather than a clipevent.

i just played it and it messed upo when the boss got on me he like moved me all over the place so i couldn't do anything or hurt him
also if he touches you your basically dead because he hugs you and then you can't get away then you die and also put boundaries on the walls

or add something like survival mode and set up some coding so enemies come from a random spot at the top of the screen and run to the bottom and the player gets an unlimited ammo rocket launcher or shotgun

well instead of *****ing about it being boring make a dam suggestion, e.g. make a zombie mode or something where you are in a room and zombies spawn every * seconds and they always constantly move towards you and yeah all you gotta do is blow the zombies ****ing heads off
