View Full Version : Fresh Meat!
I stuck my nose it to see what all the excitement about Motherload was, That was three weeks ago, after repeated late nights spent drilling on Mars I’m hopelessly hooked.
So I figured I might as well jump all the way in.

Welcome to Xgen. Don't spam or I'll own your soul. Seriously, I can do that....only not...
ManUpstairs; Don't spam or I'll own your soul
I don't spam, honest I don't. Cross my heart, and pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!!!!!!
And, you're years to late to own my soul. I traded it for an Nintendo the day they hit the market in the USA.

Haha, I like you now, feel free to stay. If I can't have your soul, can I have a cookie?
Chocolate Chip or Macadamia Surprise?
*Rummages through the 'goodie jar' in the kitchen to see if the grandkids left anything*
One left, Oatmeal, split it with you..
*Offers a rather stale Oatmeal cookie*
I think I like it here.............*Takes off shoes and puts feet on the coffee table, all the flies in the immediate vicinity immediately drop to the floor, dead as a hammer.*

Hmmm., motherload player. Anyways, welcome aboard, and keep up the stories.
Thanks snowman, Manupstairs and Huntar30.

Chuckles, good comeback.
I’d have offered a glass of milk Manupstairs, but its sort of lumpy.
Huntar, yes, a Motherload player. I like my games rather simplistic with puzzles nowadays. I’ve little time to get too carried away, between my day job and long nights as a Sci-Fi writer I don’t have a lot of spare time. I’ve watched e-gaming evolve from the incredibly crude Spacewar played on mainframes in the 60's thru Pong, Tank Battle, and those incrdibly addictive Mario brothers. And I’ve been addicted to it during the entire time. When personal computer became reliable and affordable I moved from consoles to PC’s and never looked back. I don’t even own a console anymore, gave my SP II to my son.
I have burned a lot of long winter nights with Colony Wars, Alpha Centuri and many others. I don’t game as much these days. But I did use gaming as plot-line for a longish novelette that I intend to revise to a long short and submit.
I do not care for first person shooters such as Halo and Recon. I did that type of work for real a long time ago in a place I’ve spent a lot of time trying to forget.
So yes, I am a Motherload player, it is a decent game, especially for a codeslinger’s freewrite work. I hope I can add to these forums in some small way.

Well, you CAN go there, and it CAN be fun at times, but it's a waste of your time.
Thanks some more, geez I started a Vampire thread, you know, the one that simply won't die.
Spammerland?
Chuckles, look guys I belong to a number of other forums and I mod a private Political Forum, you think this bunch is a handful? You ain't seen nothing unless you've tried to ride herd on that crowd. And we're a lot more lenient about what gets posted since it is an Adults only and protected from search engines. Though from all the tantrums, whining and crying you'd think they were about three years old.
AAMOF I need to get over there now, caught the late-late shift.
*Now, where did I put my brass knuckles, billyclub, whips and shackles*
Let's not discuss the Science forum, I get heartburn there.

Well, you CAN go there,
and most people do for a very short time
and it CAN be fun at times,
no it can't. it's funny, you can't exactly say it that way.
it's a waste of your time.
better then counting ceiling tiles. though it is one's question, is not everything without goodness of ends a waste of time?
but

Well if you're bored enough to count ceiling tiles, I don't know what to say! Go build a time machine or something! Visit Albert Einstein, see what he did to get rid of boredom.

He chased women, and caught a fair number too.
