Hey everyone,

Version 1.1 of Chicken Jockey has been sent out to Skye, and is awaiting upload onto XGenStudios.

Fixes and updates include:

- tweaked game so that players cannot exploit their own chickens to make tons of cash. If a player purchases a weak fighter chicken to bet against it, the chicken will know that it is being exploited and will lose happiness and loyalty at a greater rate. If the loyalty drops too much, as always, the chicken will run away. This should minimize attempts to make tons of money within 2 minutes of gameplay.

- Lowered the price of Virtual Fox Attack to allow more people to play it. (Was $250, now is $75)

- Fixed hidden continue button freezing bug on fights.

- As requested, maturing time for baby chicks is 15 minutes instead of 30. All other chickens age at the same rate as before (30 minutes).

- Other minor fixes.

Further add-ons will be done in the future. This update was to make the game playable and more fair.

Enjoy the new version when its up! Saved games shouldn't be affected, but I'll look out for that.

will our old games be there at normal restored levels or are my wee snowchicks dead?

No, I can't do anything about games that are corrupted, unfortunately.

Your problem is different in that your chickens aren't aging, so that can't be fixed. :(

oh well. it's a great game and we thank you for it. is there a way to "unlive" the chickens before i start over, some revenge scheme?

The new version is up. Make sure before you play that it says v1.1 on the title screen. Enjoy!

much much better. an excellent game. sure i keep getting defective chickens, but i can live with that.
edit: i think i like this glitch... i had twins! thus now i've got two thumbelena's with exactly the same stats all the time. only one of them has to ever excercise!
