i have windows xp and i get like 4 popups when i restart my comp and it bugs me but i like everything else about it so i voted for it

Have any of you xp users tried mac os 10? It has a better aperance, although the interface is quite different, once you learn it, youll find it easier than xp, and other windows products

Mac Comps aren't just a different OS, they're a completely different computer. A Windows computer, is a PC. I don't know many of the differences...

Mac supposably crashes less and is more stable, also it is a great platform for editing video, pictures and sounds, most of that software is included(Pretty much a Multimedia computer). Now there are a few drawbacks to macs. First off, with the different interface you have a heck of a time trying to do stuff, if of course you dont know how its setup. Also, Mac is a fairly small brand and many products dont work on it, and any microsoft product cost about double. Just go to apple.com to find out more.

oic i shouldve gotten a mac because i only use my comp for music games and talking on xgen....wouldnt a mac be good for that?

with the games, no because most games are pc supported, not mac supported

I would have to agree with vagrant. Some games are supported by mac, while quite a few arent. Then again most major titles have mac versions.

well i downlaod all my games form kazaa lite.....can i have kazaa lite on mac?

Also, there are other file sharing programs for the mac. (dont ask me which)

oh well it doesnt effect me i will never get a mac....only when im 18 i might try it out.....but since its not good for like word processing or w/e (documents) ill stick w/ microsoft

It works fine with word proccessing its just the possibiltity of not being able to use files from a mac on windows. But you could(this isnt me talking) download the mac version of office from someone.

ur going to hav eto start all over because u are used to whatever u use....im jus sticking w/ windows becuase i know a lot aobu tit and i can run most programs that are basic...for it......(example: powerpoint, word, publisher, frontpage etc.)

Windows isnt Free

Linux is almost the exact same interface as Windows... Its only changed to bend the copyright rule!

You can download linux. And windows isnt free when you have to upgrade. Although there is the linux you buy in the store is lot cheaper(its free), to download it on the interent

Get partition magic(I wont say how) And partition your hard drives, then create a daul boot.
