If someone could find me a website with some help on this subject it would be greatly appreciated. I'm having specific problems with the sub levels. Maybe someone can try and explain it to me or show me a website or something.
There are four quantum numbers.
The first is simply the number in front of the last electron configuration. Lets say that is 6s2. The first number would be 6.
The second designates what electron configuration it is. s = 0. p = 1, d = 2, f = 3. For our example before, your next number would be 0.
The third shows what place the last electron is in. This is hard to explain over the internet, so I'll draw a picture.

Pick where your last electron is, choose the number it corresponds to. Our example gives us 0.
Fourth is just the direction of the last electron. If it points up, the number is 1/2. If it's down, it's -1/2. Our example is -1/2.
So overall, an element that ends in 6s2, the quantum numbers would be [6,0,0,-1/2]
More examples!
1) Cs (Caesium). Electron Configuration: {Xe} 6s1. Quantum numbers: [6,0,0,1/2]
2) Pu (Plutonium). Electron Configuration: {Rn} 7s2 5f6. Quantum Numbers: [5,3,-2,1/2]
