Snowman4 won't grow up

i got my chickens to breed twice successfully and felt like trying again. i got them to do it right three times, but then; when the egg hatched, i was outside of my coop. i got 2 chickens from one birth, as i then went to the coop to see snowman3 and it said i had another one. now snowman4, the extra chicken, eats my food gets fat and lazy but has an age of 'blank'. all my chickens except her get older. what should i do???

do you have a egg incubator?

you cannot breed without it i'm sure of that... but he just, well, isn't growing up.

update: i am having a real series of problems. now none of my chickens have names or any statistics except for the adults. i have 5 worthless chickens.

i don't think anyone understands.
when they are born they should have age "0" and have their stats like speed at somewhere from 30-55%. mine have no name, no age, no stats and no gender!

That happened to me kinda, I loaded my game and my 1 chicken was gone and I had a thing like that then it ran away I think its a bug

that happened to me too exit out of the coop sell a chicken and go back it should get better

The breeding thing - it should only allow you to breed one chicken at a time. Were you able to breed multiple times before a chicken was born?

no, i bred them, it worked, a while later the egg hatched twice.

Hmm...interesting...in all my time testing I've never come across that one. I'll put in a work-around for that - maybe let you delete a chicken if its born without any attributes. My .fla is on my laptop, and my adapter burnt out, so I can't get on it at the moment. Thanks for reporting it!

you should add metal claws to buy like in real life to increase the damage one attack does

I dunno, that supports animal cruelty and since cockfighting (the real kind) encourages animal cruelty with the razor sharp blades they add in place of the chicken's natural spurs, I don't want to associate my game to that kind of practice. :)

The way it is now, its non-violent.

another breeding glitch: sometimes i havent breeded and a message pops up and says YOUR EGG JUST HATCHED! and it doesn't show a gender, and when I enter the name a chicken doesn't appear. i had done no breeding recently
