I'm doing a project at school about pornography, if its good or bad, ect. But I found such a gem I had to share.

Concerning porn...
Well, I think it's just something everybody does, whether it be jerking off to it, or just looking through Playboy every month.
Most guys do it, so what's not to like about it?
I don't have a problem with it, as long as it's kept in private. I don't want to see any when I near friends or family.
If it's consensual, it's fine. That's not to say I don't find it a tad unnerving, but if all involved parties are fine with it, who am I to judge?

Porn is not bad at all and I got a 4 gig folder to prove it.
>_>
Seriously though, like Mara said, if porns on and everyone's comfortable, sure.
I hate seeing porn on TV when friends are over though, I don't want to think of my friends getting aroused. >_<

I agree, porn among friends is quite the buzz-kill.
I have nothing against it though.

Keep it hidden, or to a decent level. I still cannot believe that 48% of the internet is porn.

That video was mildly intriguing. It was actually pretty factual and use relatively logical points.
The problem with pornography (beyond my religious views) is that it is highly addicting. Who doesn't want to feel sexual pleasure? It is one of the most powerful feelings of pleasure that people know. And it also releases chemicals in the brain, so it can actually be almost as addicting as drug abuse. I'm not saying porn and drug use are the same, but they can both be very addicting.
My main beef with porn is how it's semi-found its way into popular culture. Businessmen realize that sex sells. So what do magazine artists do? They put scantily-clad, artificially edited women on the cover to attract both men and women to buy the magazine. TV ads use very sensual women to say, "Buy this product!" You might not even be given an explanation of the use of the object anymore! "Headon, apply to the forehead!" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Is3icfcbmbs) Although the woman isn't the most attractive out there, the idea stays the same.
