That was hard to find.

That's like, the 3rd result on google when you type in pi.
Wow, this guy has a lot of spare time...
What do you want from me?
11-10-2006, 09:50 PM
And one would care why?

Because you may need to find it for some strange reason.

No you have not.
1) Everyone who wanted to find out what pi was, even slightly has seen that
2) Nobody cares about pi anymore, cakes are the way of the future
3) This does no deserve a place in irrelevance

Already have it. Anyway, maybe it could be moved to the homework help forum for this to be of even more use.

NOBODY WILL USE YOUR STUPID TOPIC FOR ANY HELP REGARDING ANYTHING.
If somebody wanted to find the value of pi, they would find it faster using google, rather then looking for your pointless thread.

This is interesting, regardless of it's use. Nothing here has use (at least nothing I've seen), and it really doesn't belong anywhere but here, if here at all. Point is:
I swear, when I'm scrolling through it really fast, I CAN SEE THE MATRIX!!!!!111ONE!

Useless! Completely Useless!
People who memorize >100 Digits of Pi are wasting their lives.

Not when you challenge someone to a pi off, not to be confused with the fat pie eating people, the pi off is a one vs. one battle to see who can go the furthest into the pi number without stopping to think.

Subzero, quit being such an ass. Nobody wants to here your dissing, unless it actually makes sense to the subject. Cake is not related in anyway to the greek symbol of pi, meaning in English is some incomprehensible endless list of digits. It belongs under irrelevance, for it has nothing to do with anything, which is pretty much what the word irrelevance means.
That last one is what I am talking about, quit being an ass/noob. Maybe then you will have even more friends then you already possibly do...

If you were to take your head out of your ass and and actually look at my post rather then skim it over and produce a moronic pile of crap you call a reply you would realize that I was using a clever analogy. Trying to stat that nobody on these forums needs to use pi, being the clever person I am, I relate the word 'pi' to the word 'pie', cake is a similar substance, therefore I used it to express the severe lack of need for pi.
Way to go ending that post with the most exciting and hurtful sentences ever, you really must have been dropped to much as a child to produce that kind of bull####. I won't even begin arguing that a bunch of strangers on the internet is hardly the type of acquaintance anybody would want. Of course you would, seeing how you think that cleverly insulting someone by stating they have no internet friends will actually lower there self-esteem and hurt them in any way.

I love doing a matrix style thing in my calculator. I spend math class just pushing tons of buttons so I can clear it at the end of class.

Silleh person. It's cak, not cake.
You don't need to know any values of pi. Not even simply 3.14. Just solve the problems in terms of pi. Much simpler. You also get an exact answer, not some rounded ####.

What a waste..
I know pi to.. Let's see... 3 places. And I've never needed more than that in year 10/11. (I'm guessing that's grade 10/11 ability wise, although we start school a year earlier here which probably makes some difference.)
You're in 'grade' 6 and you know 275 digits of pi? Jesus, someone clearly wants to be the outcast hermit living atop the mountain one day...
