i find this game quite confusing because like all it is is betting... we should start with like 150

No, 100 is just fine, you've just gotta watch the races, and then when you find a chicken that seems to be winning, bet more and more money on it till you have a small fortune. Then buy all the exersise equipment and enough food to last awhile. Then buy a chicken. Easy guide to getting a good chicken.

lol i bought a chicken first... :'(
eh, I found it easy. The races are the easiest to predict the winner. The trick is to bet small at the beginning until some chickens have won like 6 races or more, and then you can safely bet on them. Remember, the % that they have doesn't necessarilly mean that they are better, its just an approx for if every chicken had the same wins.
More wins=faster.
That's a good stategy MRZ...that's definitely the best way to pick a winner. It gets a little tougher when two or more chickens with great records are in the same race...similarly, once you get deeper in the game, the chickens improve in skill, and each chicken improves at a different magnitude.
As you go along, new chickens will be born and older ones will die out. The game will constantly change.

That's really cool. Does it matter how much money the other characters make?

Nah, they're just there for show I think. Maybe that will be incorporated into another version, where you are competing, and the more money they get, the better their chickens get. I also think they should have incorporated odds into that game, where the greater your odds of winning, the less money you make if you win.
Actually, the other jockeys purchase their own chickens, so they are competing with you right from the get-go.

Naw, the fighting is way easier to predict. Muahahha, Street Cred: 9500 $: 15000, My chickens all suck though. And how long does it take for a Chick to become a full fledged chicken?
It takes 30 actual minutes for a chick to age by 1. Real chickens live about 7 years, so the lifetime of a Chicken Jockey chicken is around 3 and a half hours.
Ha! The best strategy is to buy the worst chicken and then put him on the treadmill until he's at 100% fatigue. Then enter him into cockfights and bet on the other chicken. You always win.
Betting against your own miserable chicken...a classic strategy from the days of Qbasic Chicken Jockey.

Another way is just get a chicken, bet 15 on the other chicken and you win 15 no matter what.

the easiest way to get money is start a new game, bet it all in a cockpit fight, if you win save it, do the same again and if you lose load it untill you win

I have a better idea, dont get a chicken, bet all your money on a fight, but save before you do, if you lose reload, if you win you have double your money, then save. Repeat. Really easy.
