We came up with only 9 hurricane names used:

Alberto (Tropical Storm)
Beryl (Tropical Storm)
Chris (Tropical Storm)
Debby (Tropical Storm)
Ernesto (Hurricane)
Florence (Hurricane)
Gordon (Hurricane)
Helene (Hurricane)
Issac (Hurricane)

I think that Joyce and Kirk maybe used, but I don't know...

It's been too quiet since only 3 landfalls, Alberto, Beryl, and Ernesto has made them. It would have been more violent like last year if Gordon and Helene hit the US.

Yes. The coastal Atlantic and Gulf waters didn't get a chance to warm up sufficiently to support a powerful storm. So basically, we had too cold of a summer.

I think God just needs a few years to chill after the last hurricane season.

The only state that got ****ed in '04 was Florida, and all the people who dided were probably going to die in a few days anyways.

I assume you're referring to south Florida ... If you are, then be reminded of this:

(Landfall in Northwest Florida/Southwest Alabama, 5th most costliest hurricane on record ($14.6 billion))
