there is no doubt that speed has to do with accuracy, i remember reading about it somewhere on that game.
Also, if you want free healing and mana (no energy) start a training session and use the skills that heal you and give you mana.. i cant remember the names right now.. then end the session

I found this game easy i wish it was longer, lvl 22 and beat every level in every portal wasnt very hard. I found the moon thing interesting though.

If you got energy and dont want to pay to be heal and you have mana restore and heal you can go to the training room at level on and heal yourself cost free... you don't even waste your energy.

Yea, its annoying how short it is, and nothing you can do after you beat everything except use the training posts and do errands for the merchant, I was so expecting there to be a shadow wolf you could train somewhere

Nice guide :).
I found the easiest way to complete the game is to choose Shadow Assassin (or assassin something) and build up your passive speed spell and your speed strike technique. While doing so, increase your speed stat every time you level up (unless you need strength for a weapon). As speed increases, Speed Strike becomes more powerful.

I thought it was a good game, but you guys are right it was pretty short, I would have liked to see a shadow wolf you could have trained or had at least a chance to fight it. Not sure if anyone mentioned it but if you look at the moon at the top level you'll get a skill point to use. I started out as an all-around and worked my level up to 24 before I beat the last boss, I'de say the most useful spells for me were mana gain, life gain, that speed attack, and the strength attack, however that shadow spell was really helpful against the last boss.

has anybody else made it to the dark rift?? I don't see anybody talking about it... it's actually challenging... they don't attack your shadow like they do in the other portals if you have the ability. by the way.. what is the point to the room with the drunks?? Is there something special you have to do in there??

i made myself a warrior, got the inner strength thing and double strike, and awaaaaaayyy we go. i was doing average 200 damage per round (because i was double hitting) and if i ever ran outta health i would heal myself, low on mana i would recover mana. i easily beat the game in 20 minutes

Just the human door or all of them?
The dark rift isn't that hard its just annoying

Could you give us a guide on how you beat it in twenty minutes? That would be really cool to show your friends that you beat the game in twenty minutes :). I've been playing for hours and I chose balanced, and It does suck really really bad, but the only good thing about it is that you can get a good sword at the beginning of the game plus you'll be balanced in the beginning.
Another good idea that you have.... Which style should you use to get the biggest benifet of stats? Lemme take a look here......
Fun game :). He should definitley make a good strong sequel......

alright. choose shadow ninja, i can tell you how....
level=
1=stab
2=shruikens
3=energy shot
4=charge
5=speed strike, heal
6=speed strike
7=heal
8=speedstrike
9=charge
10=speedstrike
11=heal
12=speedstrike
13=charge
14=speedstrike
15=heal, speedstrike
16=charge
17=speedstrike
18=speedstrike
19=speedstrike
20=heal
21=charge
22=shadow blend
23=shadow blend
24=shadow blend
25=shadow blend, shadow blend
Get all of the shadow stuff after you beat the human gateway, you can buy the shadow equipment in the dark rift portal antechamber room before you enter the actual portal (a man clad in grey robes holding a katana will sell you it). GET YOUR STRENGTH TO 24 (REMEMBER THAT EVERY LEVEL YOU GET 2 STRENGTH AUTOMATICALLY SO JUST RAISE YOUR SRENGTH TO 20 BY YOURSELF.)
The wield the shadow katana...heres a pic of me.
http://forums.xgenstudios.com/viewtopic.php?p=414497#414497
you will be invincible.
ON EVERY LEVEL RAISE YOUR SPEED, NEVER TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE< NOT EVEN LIFE. once you're fast enough then nothing will pose a threat.
warning: The blood spirit (second monster in the dark rift) will be a great challenge. purchase the voodoo shield and then fight, the vodoo shield should hold off and you should be able to kill the Spirit.
have fun, it takes me about 17 and a half minutes.

I got really really bore so I decided to kick the crap out this game. XD
The easiest way to beat everything including dark portal is the speed build, just like BBOY_TTK said, get speed strike 10, get all shadow gear and use shadow replicate. This build do around 8xx damage speed strike at around lv 25ish.
However, the most powerful build is the spellcaster build. Why? Mana Bomb, that's why. Right now I have a lv 46 spellcaster with lv10 mana bomb, lv 10 charge, lv 6 heal, and lv 10 shadow replicate. Dark rift is a joke because with my mana bomb do at least 2500 damage. Spirit blood 2 hit 3 charge ko :D.
My stat at lv 46
Spellcaster
Ki band
ion bo (silver knife when training)
golden armour
the guardian
strength 37, speed 75, life 310, mana 755
The trick is go for charge (recover mana) and heal at the begining. Do not buy any gear except ki band (+50 mana, 210 gold, advance item). Once you have around 5 charge and 5 heal get mana bomb. Upgrade your mana every single level. Train like hell.
Strength build sucks, the best it could do is execution which does like 400 * 4 = 1600 and it misses alot.
A potential ultimate build is maybe use avenger which in theory does even more damage then mana bomb, but I'm too tired to try it now.
lv 10 skill stat:
Speed strike: 600% speed
Avenger: 1100% life lost (think about it, say you lost 300 hp, 1 hit = 3300 damage)
Spit: 30% of enemy life (crap, misses a lot)
excution: 120% of initial hit (I think to balance this game excution should have hit bonus so it doesn't miss THAT much and reduce mana cost to made this move more reasonable)
Shadow Replicate: (370 life, does around 180ish damage)
Mana bomb: 870% mana remaining (lv 30ish spellcaster have around 400 mana = around 2000 damage)
Heal: lv 6=85% heal (6 skill point in this skill is more then enough, anymore skill point invested is a waste)
Charge: 250 mana recover
All the other moves suck lol.
A little hint, wipe out training post shield with your first hit, then use blast fire and annihilate against training post. Buy the 5 gold 20 energy food, it's the most cost effective.
and yes I think this game should have an expansion or something ....

If anyone was wondering "hmm.... is it really worth it to make the medicine and sell it? I mean it takes a lot of time, and for a measly 24 gold a trip....."
Well, it all depends on how you spend that money.
Lets say it costs you 20 energy to get there and back and sell the medicine. (thats probably more then it really takes though) You make 24 gold.
Now, you need to replenish that energy. You have several options of what food to buy. Just remember, NEVER buy something that wastes energy, and if you can help it, dont waste mana or health. The best value is the rice balls if your going for energy. You get four times the energy per gold. You also get a nice (but unnecessary) 5 mana and 5 health.
Now you've spent 5 gold. You now have 19 gold to do whatever you want with. For mathematics sake, lets round it to 20. If your really persistant, you can make 2000 gold in 100 trips. This would take around a half an hour to an hour depending on you speed..
In conclusion, if you have the time and patience, do it. It adds up.
(edit) Don't forget, if your going to go for speed as your main attribute, get the snake band on the second floor, it increases your speed by a massive 6, for a measly 60 gold. It also gives you a bonus 10 mana.

I was able to beat the game pretty easily by using a Warrior with an avenge build. All you have to do is let yourself get hurt pretty bad and you can start putting out some insane dmg. At level 18, when I beat the last boss, I could return roughly 11 times whatever dmg was done to me. That means when my warrior had about 50 hp left from a max of ~280, I could do 11x230 = 2530 dmg for 25 mana. All you have to do is stay low health and keep laying on huge hits. The only difficultly is missing, but at 25 mana a pop, it isnt too much of an issue.
The great thing about this build is that you dont have to get high level to be really effective. I could have probably beat the game at 13 or 14 since Avenge is only a level 10 skill and you can save up your skill points from earlier levels. You also dont need to have high STR at all, or good weapons, just concentrate on getting as much HP and mana as you can.

well, great game in all, i'm totally addicted, only thing i really havnt done is beat it with the normal class, the mage just kicks ass, curently i'm using mine with a quick finish move- 10 level mana bomb, 10 level charge (in case i miss...stupid low speed) 6 level heal (seriously? can you get it above 100%, if so whats the use of it then) and items to boost mana 280, giving me 770 mana at level 24 (i'm trying to find out how high i can get my level before insanity sets in, if anyone knows, dont ruin my moment of glory... and boredom... damn training ward doesnt like healing itself) i'm thinking of using a fighter, not using any skills, and seeing if i can beat the game.....oh geez, i'm gonna be infront of this comp for a long time....
if anyone has played a game that had something along the lines of a cave with 100 floors to play through (such as paper mario for gamecube or FFX-2) then you can understand what i'm saying, this game needs something like that for the people who have nothing better to do then sit at their computer for *checks time* about 5 hours at a time eating ice cream and listening to music at 2:31 in the morning (god i love the night) plus, vertern gamers would get a kick out of it cause it might make it harder without making it harder to beat the game (as in get rid of dark rift and add in something harder like a pit of doom with 100 increasingly tougher monsters untill its so hard your pratically pulling your hair out) cause seriously, just 10 minutes ago i was in the dark rift, i fought the anti-ninja, killed him in one move doing 6699 damage, this game still kicks ass without anything uberly tough in it, but the tougher the game is, the more fun... untill someone kills themself cause they cant beat it, anyway i'm off to beat up the training ward for a few hours

sorry for double posting but i got one thing to say, if you ever think of trying to get your level higher then 30, dont, its not worth it, i am at level 32, i need 1600 exp to level up and the most i can scrap from one training session is 560 at this moment, i wonder how hard it is going to be when i hit level 40... well i'll be here for the next 10 hours probably so someone give me a reply post
ps: even though its taking me forever, my skills do kick ass now
10 in mana bomb 6 in heal 10 in charge and 6 in shadow replicate which is 38 points in total i've had to spend... damn shadow replicate being at the bottom
the reaper is too damn easy when i got to him... buy before him i hate that you can't get anymore money( i'm not doin the trade thing!)

I have to say I love this game, and have played through a ton of times. My favorite is the all-health avenger "build" as you guys call it. I go let the training ward either beat me up bad or kill me (is there a negative consequense?) and then go in with the Guardian shield. If my shield gets destroyed, I have a lvl 1 or 2 heal to heal me enough to stay alive, but not enough to ruin the avenger. I can kill the shadow reaper in one hit.
It makes me sad, though, that there's nothing to do after that. Sure, you can train up, but there's no one to fight anymore, and no money to be made... So I start all over again! I've defeated it with each of the three specializations and a balanced, playing as each of the three. It's really kind of sad the time I've spent and the number of times I've replayed the game. I wish there were a sequel or expansion.

You can hit the training wards, and they take off energy when you hit them and gives you a certain amount of experience, the amount of experience gained is doubled if the shield of the training ward is broken, if you run out of energy you get taken out of the fight; and if you die - you die
Each level has a new attack on the last difficulty and they all have heal 300 hp ability.
Easy 80/300 2 energy 3 experience per hit
Medium 180/500 3 energy 5 experience per hit
Hard 300/700 10 energy 20 experience per hit
If you get the ring off the meditating ninja(3rd floor left room) you can look at the moon(3rd floor middle room) and it will give you an extra skill point.

Follow these instructions to obtain:
-illimited cash
-illimited strength, speed, life, mana, energy
-illimited Skills....etc You get the point
- this is the ultimate cheat code that ruins the game. Using this I was able to inflict about 900,000 damage IN ONE BLOW.
Oh, and I only know how to do this with Windows. Mac users, I'm sure you can find something along similar lines.
The way you do it is that you dial me and give me your credit card number... jk.
What you are going to do is essentially edit the .sol file, which is SotW "save game" file. So FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1) Start a new game, choose your character, and immediately save the game. This step ensures that you have a saved game profile. If you are reluctant to delete your own hard-earned (but soon-to-be worthless) profile, feel free to skip this step.
2) COMPLETELY EXIT out of the game and close the game window. That means that you will have to re-click on the game link to have the menu pop up again - BUT don't do this yet.
3) Now go to START --> SEARCH and search for "mofunzone". It will find some sort of file in a pathway like C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXXXXXXXX\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\WM23MLS2\mofunzone.com\gamef ilez\sinjid_shadow_of_the_warrior. Not that in the pathway above XXXXXXXXXX represents whatever name you are using to log on to Windows.
4) You will notice that in the sinjid_shadow_of_the_warrior.swf folder, there is a file called user_profile.sol. THIS is the file you need to edit. If you can't find the file in the above folder, you've made a mistake - use brute force to find it (SEARCH for it using Windows Search) - OR create a new saved game.
5) Now you need to download a program that will let you edit the file. It is - surprisingly - called a Sol File Editor. Download it at http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/soleditor/SolEditInstall.exe?download.
6) Open user_profile.sol. You have a menu on your left and values on your right. Voila - play around with everything. I've already typed enough to let you figure out what corresponds to what.
7) Once you are satisfied with your changes, go to File and click Save.
8) ONLY NOW go back to your Web browser and click on the link for the game to pop up again. Now, instead of starting a new game, you want to Load a game. Tadaa.
9) It literally took me 3 minutes to go through every single oppenent. I just went to one gate after the other and stayed there until I had destroyed everybody. 9999 Health, 9999 Mana, 9999 Strengh, etc sure helps.
10) After I had done it, though, I still "ain't got no" satisfaction. Completely ruins the game, but there you go. Have fun playing around.
Cheers,
George

for warrior:
1 point every skill on the left side except lvl15
max points for avenger.
Then u can destroy everything in a few hits at low health!!!
Oh yeah, and for Dark rift, be prepared for blood spirit, because you need to have as much magic defense as you can (lower its 3-hit spell to 45 damage.)

Thanks so much for ur guide on how to beat the game-it's so much easier now. Also, there's a mistake. U get an extra bonus point on level ten and twenty, not just five and fifteen.

What do you mean?
There's a new one out?
Other than the survival mode thingy that's just a lame excuse for not having a story?
I admit, it's good, but the problem is that it just doesn't have a story, which kinda takes away from the RPG part of it. They shouldn't call it Sinjid 2, because survivals have no storyline, so they can't really be counted as the next game in the series.

I thought it was a good game, but you guys are right it was pretty short, I would have liked to see a shadow wolf you could have trained or had at least a chance to fight it. Not sure if anyone mentioned it but if you look at the moon at the top level you'll get a skill point to use. I started out as an all-around and worked my level up to 24 before I beat the last boss, I'de say the most useful spells for me were mana gain, life gain, that speed attack, and the strength attack, however that shadow spell was really helpful against the last boss.
befor you can get the skill point you need to go get a ring for this guy who is meditaiting

I take it from what I have read here of how others have done, that I have been mis-interpreting the rules about strength and what you can carry.
I have limited the total strength points of the items I am carrying to no more than my current strength point value.
It sounds like in fact what I should be able to do is to carry any/all items that I have slots for whose strength requirement is my strength point value or less?
That would certainly make this game a lot easier! It may also be an idea for making it more of a challenge.
Thanks,
Steve

Mana Bomb + Dmg You Lost Into Dmg For Guy Move + 12% Health Move (Now 20%) + Shadow Helper All The Way!
Shurikens: Magical damage-85 (Better than Blast Fire and annihilate)
...
Blast Fire: Magical Damage-57(2) (Best used in training)
Liked the guide, but I don't know that I agree with your statement here that shuriken is better then blast fire. It depends on equipment and resistances.
Lets ignore your own equipment for a moment ...
Blast fire would hit twice for 57*2 = 114, which beats the damage on the shuriken by 30. Now, I don't know exactly how magical defense works, but if its subtractive, its possible shuriken would sometimes be better. If the opponent reduces magic damage by > 15, then shuriken would be on top. If its % based, then the blast fire is better ...
But that's before your own equipment. If you have equipment that adds lets say 40 magic damage, blast fire starts taking over because that bonus is added to BOTH hits. In that case, shuriken does 85+40 = 125 vs blast fire = 2 * (54+40) = 188 damage. And with ion bo and other eq, you can do even better then that. This also shows the point to anhilate - it triples the damage from your magic boost. Unfortunately ... it costs 3 times as much mana.
If you're playing around with super high levels it doesn't really matter of course, but if you're just trying to get through the game (started - and finished- today with a level 18 assassin) then blast fire is pretty decent. I mixed up the speed attack with blast fire depending on opponents defences and number of opponents. blast fire (or shuriken earlier) are useful when there is a low hp opponent who is hiding behind a tougher one.
