Hey guys, I dont know if many of you remember, but a couple of months ago I started a game called Metropolis:2060. It went pretty ok for a while, but a perma-ban and a little trojan by the name of Sub7 led me to remove most if not all files including sounds and concept art. Well im thinking of starting it again, because I beleive it has great potential to be a good, if not excellent game under the right team of Developers. I have some pre-development art if anybody wants to see what it might look like:

Ive decided not to use the line tool at all, or at least to show it, in this art for many reasons. One being that it has a much more crisp, cleaner color rather than black lines all over the place.
If you want a sort of image on how this game is gonna be, think StickRPG with every building out of a hopeful 50 being completly accessible and being able to explore within, different city travel and tons of things to buy including buildings and furniture etc. Also, quests and individual missions, and going to work will require much more than a click for money ;) .
If anybody is interested, I have here the positions which could be filled.
AS Scripter: Magicus
Secondary Artist: MMC
Music/Sounds Department: Flash-MX

For Shadow000 and Magicus, you guys can either work together or seperatly if you want. Ill give you the first stuff to work on until I finish the art for the engine/demo. Its gonna be like 6 buildings in/out and some eye candy for the critics ;)
Here are some projects they would each work on:
AS Scripter: Movement code with four sides to a character, think Franks Adventure, hitTest code for character, health (if he walks into a car), random number codes, rpg fight stuff *maybe.
Secondary Artist: Misc stuff like lamp posts, sidewalk detail, sand detail, character main and others, coffee cups etc.
Music/Sound: Setting up a soundtrack, optimizing music and such, picking out specific songs and sounds.
Primary Artist: Buildings, inside buildings, menu, cars, highways, roads, layout and trees.
Ideas etc.: What do people want in a game like this? Thats what this job entitles, getting ideas about stuff people should be able to do, jobs, building ideas etc. Its not gonna be much of a fighting game, but if we can script a random attack code... why not.
Researcher: A lot of people will look as hard as they can to find something wrong... look for stuff on wikipedia, sci-fi sites etc. on how the world would look and what would be researched and such by this time. I dont think we are going to be at inter-galactic travel ie.
Second AS scripter: Variables, money banking system, if intelligence = this or more then do this, if not do this, stuff like that.
Animator: Sure we can have a lot of art, but no good is it without life and movement? The character, misc things that happen in the city, water movement, etc. Really whatever you feel should move. But emphasis on character.
The game takes place in around 2060, so the researcher would have to pretty much research what could take place, what does fictionally take place in some games, events that happen then etc. The city you begin in is sort of an arabic-themed place, so it would most likely take place in future Instanbul. The rest of the cities though would be entirely up to the director. Of course credit will be given completly to each of those, including freelance work.

To those of perfectionism I am using Indian folk-music, and Persian, and Pakistani (I beleive), I am not however implying that all middle-east music is the same, nor the languages, and not implying that there is not one stereotype of arabic descent, nor that India is Iran.
