I can't get it to work right... I type stuff in but it's "incorrect".

It's pretty cool, but I think it could be much better with some work, add some features and such. I also think that having to type in code and stuff just makes it boring.

Annoying to navigate like that. It's almost a text adventure, but not quite.
Interesting though.

About the navigation... Yeah, i know.. While testing it for errors at home, i did get irritated myself... And im gonna make it all cleared for errors.
I call it a beta version myself, because i also thought about adding much more features. And of course, change the navigation....! Add some diffirent enemys and so on.
And when i get the time, make it run in HTML properly.!!!

If you ask me, making a text adventure in flash is like using Paintshop Pro to write letters. It's just... not right. Flash was meant to be... flashy. Buttons, text, clicking, animation, that's the point of flash. To be honest, I don't know if anyone would actually spend their time playing a flash game that's a mix of a text-based adventure and a flash game.
But if you must keep it that way, a few tips. Make the enter key as a way to send commands. Constantly having to click "command line >" is incredibly annoying :-p. And the battle needs some more work, both graphically, as well as when it comes to telling the user what's going on. At first I thought the enemy kept jumping when I hit him.

I would. :D
But it has to be made well, and have lots of options. Actually, those links are great examples of text-adventures that you could learn from for your own game.

Not enough people are interested in making text adventures in flash, as was proven by my failed text adventure contest a wihle back...
