My friend's parents are getting divorced and she's looking to me for comfort. What should i say to her to make her feel better?

There isn't much you can really say to alleviate the situation. The most you can do is try to cheer her up or distract her from it.

There's a little bit to say, I've been in two, so yeah.
Just emphasize that it's not her fault at all and everything should be fine. There isn't alot, like Vag said. It's the little things that count though. :)

Totally the time to put in some ground work.
Just keep her out of the house as much as you can, nobody wants to be with angry parents, take her to the movies, park, your house It's all better than leaving her at hers.

Just listen to her. That's really ALL she wants. Say stuff that is comforting to her, always make sure she knows she can turn to you for help. Also, it doesn't hurt if you bring her to get some ice cream or chocolate.
Oh, by the way. Did I emphasize that you should state that you are ALWAYS THERE TO HELP.

Tell her at practically every opportunity that you love her. If you aren't saying it at least ten times a day (assuming your home most of the day, if you aren't, just make sure you say it at least once).
Ideally you'd work towards this, don't go saying it every fifteen seconds, but if she seems to lose focus in whatever she's doing (you'll recognize the look she has), then tell her.
My parents didn't divorce, but my dad died, so I imagine that your mom must be going through a somewhat similar emotional situation, even if it is a lot different.
