My friend met a hacker in a chatroom. This guy in insane. He creeps us out, he's a hacker and he said that he robbed a bank. (Yes, he did rob a bank and we got some proof)
This guy could be reading our chat logs and finding out where we live. For now on, I'm bringing a weapon whever I go. This guy creeps me out. This guy could be a pedophilie and this time, it's not my fault.
I'm in knee deep ****, what do I do?!
P.S: We are contacting the police once we find evidence that he's in town.
I'm a guillable person, but I call bull.
The only way he can read your chat logs, is if you have a keylogger. You don't "magically get" a trojan, you have to double execute a contaminated file.
He could easily get your IP. By doing a whois on your IP, if he's lucky he gets your city. However, if it he doesn't get your city he gets a neighbouring city.
Do we have any proof this guy isn't just a script-kiddy? Also, what proof do you have that he robbed a bank? Couldn't he have just found a bank robbery a few years ago and said that's him?

You don't have to talk to him.

I block him, but he still can message me (Cuase he hacks).
Woah, he actually said my address! Now I'm really freaked out.

I'm with Mara on calling bluff.
And why would a pedo be behaving this way? Think logically. Why would they act in a threatning way that sends alarm bells going off in your head? Like you said you would do, you would call the police and ruin his chances of getting you, as well as being on alert. If he really wanted to get to you, he would act in a less threatning way, most likely, try to gain your trust.
And I'd like to see this bank robbing evidence.
Personally, I think he's just playing with your head for kicks and giggles.
I aswell think it's bull
Give us screenshots of chat logs, give US proof that you are telling the truth. If it was real, there is no way he can see what you type on your computer without you willingly downloading something, clicking on a link, etc.

Yes, this is what Honeycomb does for fun. He thinks up elaborate, mildly unbelievable (but still rather probable, just to keep us wondering) stories to post on XGen to hear all the wack-eyed advice people will give. He's just that bored out in the flatlands.

****, nobody believes this.
Screw this, lock the thread if you guys are not gunna help, might as well spit on this thread and lock it.
Goodbye.
Sperry, are you indicating that I always lie?
Honeycomb, re-read what Sperry said, to me it appeared he was being sarcastic (I might be wrong).
Anyhow, you haven't given us proof. You've told us virtually nothing, and if you refuse to tell us more we can't help you. The only advice we could give is the advice given, call the police.

My opinion? It's a different friend using an alternate screen name to freak you out.
One thing though, why would he come ALL the way to where you live, just to spy or do whatever you call it on you? If he's a pedo, why doesn't he fiddle around with the kids next door?
Keep your weapon, just incase. I believe you, but I'm saying that he won't come near you. If he does, smack him on the neck first, then bash him to unconsciousness, or if you get the chance, KILL.

Hmmmmm..... Personally I would do the same thing you are. Especially if he is threataning that he will come to your house and whatever. Like a couple other people have said, call the cops. And yes I believe you.

Concealed Weapons Permit. I keep a weapon with me all the time, right to bear arms.
Oh, and if you want, you can call the cops.
If you have a feeling your friend ________ is the person harrasing you, tell him you will be moving to avoid this person who figured out where you live over MSN.

Of course, killing is the best option, since murder trials usually don't take between several months to several years, in which you may be detained, or in Honeycomb's cade, send to Juvenile Hall, or whatever you call it, and cost tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees, along with distressing your parents.
I'm thinking it's a friend messing with you.
And you still haven't shown us the proof that he hacked a bank.
Or that he's a hacker.

I don't really think it would be a pedophile, unless it is someone who you have wronged in the past.

If he has to find out what city your in, he will probably take a plane to get to where you are. Fill the plane with deadly, angry snakes.

Alright guys, I kinda lied. I have no proof to show you that he has 'harmed' other kid's. That's the only thing I lied about. This d00d's name is ckr (or ckr2) and my friend's were watching the news and remembered seeing a news story about a guy online named ckr2. He would meet people online, go to frat houses, wonder around the park at midnight and he would try to kill (Mostly hurt) kid's and adult's. Now, I dont know how the heck my friend's remember this.
P.S: My friend's were at my house around the time this happened. They were either at my house, were offline or they dont use MSN.
P.P.S: This guy dropped out of school.
Umm dude why are you telling us, when you can tell zee police or other people, if he did rob a bank then they would be looking for him, so you could help em.
