What...the hell...are vanilla cigars? I've never heard of them before.
It's all down to your willpower. You don't need anything to help you, all you need to do is tell yourself you won't smoke them anymore. it will work, trust me.

Try step by step to replace your addiction. You could try getting rid of anything you have that would remind you of them. Try smoking less every day. You can go slow if you want to.

Cigars are actually not bad for you, if you smoke them correctly. I would say, just make sure you keep it to a minimum and not go on to ciggies.
But to quit, I would recommend keeping yourself away from people who smoke and places you smoke for at least a month. Chew gum, or take up a hobby to keep your mind off it. Mind you, I have no idea how much you've been smoking, so it's hard to give advice.
And cigars do come in a variety of fun flavors, my favorite being banana.

dude ur a highschool freshman and u already smoking cigars? O.O
Well, to quit is to find a hobby. Do wat u like and keep at it until ur addiction go away.
Or chew gum, like chew around 10 packs of gum a day.

You are telling me that you are addicted to B&Ms? Wow... just wow...
1. You are not addicted to the cigars, but addicted to the habit.
2. B&M are good for one thing, rolling paper.
3. B&Ms are, what... $2 per pack of 5? What does that tell you? There is hardly any quality nicotine in those cigars, my friend.
4. Just stop. Give it 3 days and you won't want one anymore.
On a final note, you are just a dumbass for even considering smoking a B&M for the pleasure of it. They taste terrible, are low quality, and contain nothing that would keep me coming back for them. If you are really going to get into cigar smoking, have a nice Cuban or Dominican cigar. Maybe a Romeo e' Juliette would be good for you, or a Monte Carlo. Don't just smoke a crappy cigar for the sake of smoking.
Cigars, to me, are like martinis. You don't want to have a bad martini, because then it is just plain alcohol. But a good martini is smooth, satisfying, and ultimately perfect.

Pfft, you don't even know who you are talking to. I am not 'glorifying' cigars, but I am saying that some are much better than others. I do not smoke cigars every day, but I will have one once in a while. Your parents must keep a tight grip on you for you to think that having maybe 10-20 cigars a year is a bad thing to do.
In my first post, I encouraged him to stop. Smoking is nothing to be proud of, but unlike most people I don't have a cigar once in a while because I think it is cool, I really enjoy sitting back with a smooth cigar. If you ever had one, you would understand what I am saying. Not all cigars smell bad or taste like ash, very good cigars have a unique flavor that is smooth and relaxing.

As long as you aren't jesus, then I don't care who you are.
And my parents do not have a 'tight grip' on me. I am 18, and I make my own life decisions. And choosing not to smoke cigars was one of those decisions.
Doesn't matter how 'nice' they are. It's like a serial killer saying killing people makes him feel happy and content. Just because you like it, doesn't make it right. Why did you start smoking them btw?

I never really 'started' smoking. As I said, I do it a handful of times a year. How the hell are you going to compare serial killing to smoking a cigar? Completely different ballgames there.
If you want the reason why I ever had my first cigar, it was because I just wanted to try it out. Nobody persuaded me, forced me, or told me to do it. I went on my own choice to give it a try. I bought a Cuban cigar from my brother's friend Charles, smoked it, and enjoyed it. I didn't smoke one every day, I never smoked 2 in a day, and I never had a cigar out of bordom.

Black and Milds are terrible. They have bad taste, no flavor except for the crappy spray-on vanilla added to the tip, and are the complete opposite of a smooth cigar.

Gooch, AR was saying that people are trying to give you advice, and you're shooting people down for offering it. You're previous post is an example of it. Sure, it didn't have a cotton-candy boarder, but AR still gave you some advice. Yet, you insist on being sarcastic and insulting. Your response didn't help in the slightest, but it did tarnish your image a bit (at least in my eyes).
If you post in the advice forum, expect to take some advice. Not everyone will be incredibly nice about the way they give advice (which is too bad), but being an ### about it helps in no way. Tough guy facades don't work on the 'net.

Any type of gaseous substances that you breathe will go to your lungs, be it oxygen, cigar smoke or methane, fresh from someone's ass.
You can take the quickest and "shallowest" puff from a cigar, You know, put it to your lips and "pluck" it, (retract quickly in a jerking motion, I hope I'm using the word right) some smoke will get to your lungs.
On the other hands, I don't think (Quality) Cigars (as opposed to cigarettes) have all that tar and other poisonous substances goodness, so you're better off smoking them, I guess.

the Gooch, cigars are not addictive. I have no clue as to why you are having these "cravings", but I think you are just forcing yourself to believe you are addicted when you really aren't. Maybe because you are nervous about it. If you don't enjoy it, I would advise stopping, which shouldn't be hard do do. Unless of course someone is forcing you to do this, and in that case, we aren't the ones you should be consulting...
Doesn't matter how 'nice' they are. It's like a serial killer saying killing people makes him feel happy and content. Just because you like it, doesn't make it right. Why did you start smoking them btw?How do those two situations have anything in common? You're making it sound like by smoking cigars, we are killing others for our own pleasure. Hmm...
And there really is not anything wrong with smoking cigars on occasion. My situation is very similar to AR's. I also love to sit back and enjoy a nice cigar with a few of my friends from time to time. Not every day of course, just on occasion. There is nothing wrong with that at all. I don't do it because I'm bored, I do it because I find it enjoyable. They would be tearing my body apart if they were addictive and I felt the urge to smoke them every day, but I don't, and neither should anyone else who smokes cigars. Cigarettes are the addictive ones, pal.

Cigars are generally much better to have than a cigarette, simply because of the way you smoke a cigar. You don't suck on a cigar like you would on a cigarette. You breathe the aroma, instead of sucking into it.
But I choose not to smoke, simply because I don't want to waste my money, or risk my health. It's not my choice what others do with their money and lives though.
