i found this really nice job. It's a part time job and i get pay $500 a week. I get to travel alot, i also get pay just to drive the boss around. I really like this job alot but now he told me that he needed some1 to work full time for him and he ll pay $800 a week. The problem is that i am still a full time student and if i take this job then i have to quit school, but this job is really rare it doesn't appear out of thin air. It's a once in a life time opportunity, so do i take it and quit school?

What grade level are you in school?

If you get a full-time job, you can do classes at night and on weekends, sometimes directly over the interweb. They have all sorts of offers for things like that.

Stay in school. You will regret leaving school if you quit for some good job offer that won't last forever.

Yeah, besides if you stay with school, you'll most likely end up getting a better job.

I'm in college grade. This is a travel job. Sometimes, I won't even come home for weeks, so online classes is hard to deal with.

school is always open for u to learn. The problem is whether or not u are able to learn once u quit and came back.
This job does last forever because the boss is about to retired and he is looking for a replacement. Now, if i do take this job then i might become his apprentice and take over his business. That's y it's really hard to decide right now.

If you're in college you can drop it then. Anyone can go back to college.

Honestly stay in school. Finish college and you will have way more (and way better) job oppertunitys.

Please listen to me closely: Do not drop out of school for an extra $300 a week.

I'm assuming you're in high school or college, and for either of these, $500 a week is excellent money! You shouldn't feel bad about that. What you should keep in mind is that you will not be doing this job for long; it won't last for more than a few years. When it's over, what will you do? You would have no college diploma, so you wouldn't be able to get a real, well-paying job. And for what? An extra 300 a week for a couple years?

Life catches up to you before you do. Before you know it, you're married, then you buy a house. Now you have to go to work to pay your morgate payments. Trying to take some classes would be incredibably hard, two full time jobs.

What if your job barely goes anywhere, and you're stuck, having to support a mortage, with mediocre wage?

Do not drop out of college for mediocre wages. You can get a lot more than 800 a week with a college diploma.

800 a week
x 52 weeks
41,600 a year

jobs coming out of college start higher than this. and if you have to travel, it would make it hard to keep a steady relationship if you ever wanted too.

Education is EVERYTHING especially with the world we live in today. I highly suggest you stay in school and go to college, for many reasons, one of which is what if you later on get laid of or fired? then you have nothing, stay in school and keep the job you have now.

well, i came to a conclusion. I'll stay with the job as part time, but I will withdraw 2 classes out of 5. I work on the weekend and school on the weekdays. :)

See, that kind of thing never happens, if he retires he'll hire someone qualified to manage his buisness, and that's it, he's not going to hire his driver.
