I have been having these weird, scary dreams that have been depriving me of my sleep for the last 2 weeks. I have observed my dreams and I can't find any reason they are happening. Any Ideas?

1. The sun explodes and I burn in the intense heat.
2. I am I'm the WTC and I see the plane, looking on at my death.

Hmmm.... Thats pretty weird. Well what I always do is play my Xbox 360 late at night then come upstairs and think about the game in my sleep. That is what helps me get to sleep when I have an Nightmare.

Well when I have one (I never get anymore now), I"ll pretend there in my dream that I"m taking advantage of everything or just do something like splash water on yourself

You should actually consult a doctor, not us.
Having this over two weeks isn't all that good, and I'm pretty sure there's little advice we can give you.

Did something happen to you just before you started having these dreams?

Did you know someone who died at the Trade Center?

Or maybe something else horrible? IF yes? That's the reason but bad dream sare reflections from sorrows and fear

Maybe the sun exploding and you being burned may tell you that you need to turn down the temperature while sleeping.

Did you recently just watch the WTC movie?

Try setting up a dream, thats what I did before when I had insomnia.

He can sleep it's the dreams.

You're best off ignoring them. That's always worked for me.

COuld it be something subliminal? BOth night mare have to do with explosions+heat, so maybe your bedroom is too hot, or you have too many sheets. Are you paranoid? Cause they both have to do with major destruction.

I have the air conditioning on all night, and its not to cold.
I have no idea why they are happening.

Should I see a psychiatrist?

Its probally not that serious. But if it continues for another couple of weeks or for a month, then I definitly would.

Candy, pop, and the rest could still make you have weird dreams. They excite your brain, so even if you go to sleep chances are you'll have weird dreams.

Try to take control of your dreams. Or watch a couple of comedy movies. What happens if I have a bad dream is that my mind usually makes it funny or turns the tables around on whatever is haunting my dreams. For instance, Say I just watched a Jason or freddy movie, and it ends up I see him in my dream, usually my comical mind (No movies needed for me) Thinks up a creative way to humiliate, kill, prank, embarrass, ect, ect Jason. Therefore, making the bad dream, a good dream. If my advice doesn't work try a docter.

taking control in your dreams is hard to do though. I've been trying for over half a year. granted I only dream (that I can remember) every three weeks or so. but it's not easy

Scarier than me?

Try setting the mood of being happy. Spend each night thinking of good thoughs 20 minutes before sleeping. That should help...............Unlike me...........

Look give me actual advice, I'm tired and I want to sleep tonight.

Find some music you like and some earphones (they're usually more comfotable to sleep in) and listen to something you like that won't inspire fear etc. Make sure it's only one song and have it repeat. After a while it'll stop being music and just be repetition in the background and it will ditract your mind allowing you to sleep.

At least that worked for me after playing Silent Hill 2 late at night. Although I had Black Hawk Down playing

I always sleep with the radio on, dunno if that'll help, but it always helps me get to sleep at night.

I have a night light but that hasn't helped, I added 3 more lights and it still didn't work.

Just don't think about it. If you think about it at all, even once before you go to bed, then listen to Hoopla. If you just forget about it, it doesn't usually come up in your dreams. To get your mind off of it, play a video game before you sleep.

stay awake until the time that if you sit on your bed you will fall alseep. while awake, writte your christmas list, do schoolwork, watch adam sandler in 50 firsts dates, and watch that mcdonalds movie "supersize me." i did all of that once and i had dreams about something weird and retarted. i felt different during the next day...
