its basicly gonna be a game about harvest moon..with some twists..
its in its nearly development..darc is doing the graphics..you know darc...well..nothing from him there yet..just some sketches I done..it will be pixels and with that cartoony look.

the enine is gonna be used as well for a online game..testing purposes for now..imnot the one handling it, so I belive it will work pretty well...

things arent going really fast, I just tought to let you guys know..im really hoping I will finish those ones up..

Looks like this could be promising. :D

A little advice, when you get around to the movement system, try to make it so the character actually moves in pixels instead of grid cells. It's a little too jumpy in that regard.

its the version number..like..halfLife 2.0.16....
it was 0.0.4, but it was laggy as hell..the engine was loaing up the machine, geting the FPS to <=1/s..even with graphics on low..so I figured out a way to make it lag less(nothing at all here)..so I putted that Fix...

I chose to make them walk on the grid, not in pixels, coz this way its less stuff to lag the server when i use this engine with the online game..of course Ill fix that choppy looking walk, but they will move on the grid..

this version isnt even finished yet, to version 0.0.4 I was planning to have the gump boxes sistem ready as well so..

As a suggestion: A parallel to Harvest Moon would be Harvest Sun, wouldn't it? o.O Harvest son just... makes no sense at all :-D

lol...Im still working on title you know..we came up with several names now that we kinda have a plot..but befoe I just showed up a random name to save the project...and yeah..son was a typing error...but I kinda liked it...for 3 milimeters it wasnt harvest sin..

You need more of a visual clue of moving. When in the grass, and moving, you can't tell if you are or not.

well..this was actually one of the topics for the next version...Ill have more than one type of grass,trees and so.. and they will be chosen randomly where there is grass...

if u r going to move in the grid style u have, I suggest decreasing frame rate.

it goes way to fast.
once more buildings are in, it'll be hard to navigate.

dont worry..im taking care of this matter now..I just made some improvments on graphics..nothing too big tought..well...I guess it isnt desgusting to look at it now..even with the poorly drawn stickmans..I might take care of them too...
maan..winter there sure ruined the development on the game graphics...darc cant get online from his home..
next version Ill try to finish the talking, make the walking part and map changing..im thinking about doing a puzzle or somenthing for the next versions..so it doesnt get boring...

ok..I have been changing the whole sistem...and now I go myself a lil problem..I suposed I know it..but it aint working...

so I have a number that refers to the NPC..it will be v..and I made an object NPC[1] = {app : 1}.
now I want to acces the info in app and store in a var
var id = NPC[v].app
that was suposed to work as far as I know..but it aint...am i doing it wrong?

ok..forget about it..solved..just have to declare NPC as an array before using it like that..

well..in this sistem changing and doors and everithing I dont remember what was the last version and what is this one so..Ill just forget about it now..lets count on percentage done

jk..have no idea where this is going to..the guy making the storyline and all the stuff from the RPG havent done anything yet..

and trying to talk to people is way too hard...especially when they have more then one thing to say...make sure u cant hold down the control button to whiz right through a convo

I'd say that you should start from the START, like the offline game, with simple graphics(no "cartoon-look s*it or pixelization) and so on...
Move one step at a time.

i Have been there already...a while ago..im moving on to other stuff...it now moves with the mouse, the talking is with the mouse, so no mroe trouble with the chat screen running away..lots of things diferent already...not working much on it recently because of the helydays, but its going smooth..no more demos tought...meybe on winter-een-mas...but I cant say anything for sure...
