It's not all fake, most pictures are real and some of Lebanon is expriencing damage, the poitn is that the media is exploiting the disater to gain readers and turn people against Israel.

Yeah well things like this are seem to be done to try and make an effect of battle look worse or better that it actually is, in this case those pictures on the film are made out to look as though the bombings were worse than they are. I guess you could say it’s a form of propaganda as it seems to try and get people to turn against Israel and portrays them as a country that is just bombing random places for the sake of it. At least that’s what I think.
Also I have seen something similar to this on another forum (shown sometime last month), from what I remember it shows staged scenes in conflicts between Palestine and Israeli forces, if you want I can track it down.

Pallywood is what that is called
This (http://news.com.com/2300-1026-6033210.html) link might be partially relevant. All about fakes images and suck, by c|net. I found it rather interesting. I only doubted a few. Sure it's easy to say the lighting is a bit off after you read it, but if you saw it on the cover of Time, you wouldn't doubt it.

Yep, I searched for it after posting, the part I saw was from the 60 minutes show (don't know whether Pallywood has been shown elsewhere). I found it to be very interesting, especially when a person that appeared to be dead walked back onto a strecther after been dropped onto the ground.

Sales. If it looks better, it sells more. What is being sold doesn't matter, it could even be a name. So if you spend a couple hours in photoshop playing with levels so things look better, and you make more sales, it's "worth it". At least financially, not ethically.

The first photographer's excuse is bull####. The "lighting" was bad. And I seriously doubt he was using a traditional camera.

On that photo, I had a shutter speed of 1/1500 of a second and fstop of 5.6. That's essentially like staring into the sun with your camera -- Because my camera WAS looking at the sun!

On that photo, I had a shutter speed of 1/750 of a second, and an f-stop of 4.0. That's normal daylight lighting conditions, which are optimal for photos.

Israel is doing exactly the same as the United States of America. Invading a country for no reason and trying to get away with it by saying they did it to "defend themselves from terrorism". Yeh, I badmouthed the US of A, three hoorays for me!

There were 10,000 missles pointed at Israel as well as six soldiers kidnapped by Hizballah. Hizballah has fired dozens of missles at Israeli cities. Get your facts staright idiot.

I watched the news. Israel lost a battle, but not the war.
First off, The dreaded missiles that put Israel's army at bay has nearly run out. Now, if the cease fire went off, then Israel would win.

Of course they would. Isreal could smash through all of Lebanon's army without much of a problem. Even though Isreal has a small army, they are far better equipped than all neighbouring countries. Their only issue would be terrorist groups, guerrilla warfare tactics and the like.

6 soldiers kidnapped?
Oh god no! I guess it's time to invade a country and destroy innocent people's lives, calling them "civilian casualties of war" that we sadly can't prevent!
Nothing justifies the sheer destruction Israel is causing in Lebanon. It's doing nothing to stop the Hizbollah threat. Israel has completely failed in this issue. Rather than find the Hizbollah functionaries and missile bases and shut THEM out, they randomly bomb Lebanese cities, hoping to kill enough Hizbollah agents to make them give up.

The soldiers were just the straw that broke the camels back. The point of the kidnapping was that it showed open hostility. Israel attacked to destroy the missles as you said. However for "civilian casualties of war", Israel has had hundreds of deaths as well. Missiles were flying into cities such as Haifia. Many of my family members fled Haifia and other morthern cities to protect themselves.

Oh yea. THAT justifies killing other civilians. Hey! They're killing our civilians, we have the right to kill THEIR civilians! People that have nothing to do with this!
What are you, a sovereign state or a terrorist organisation like the Hizbollah?

Zing! And the israeli forces would do better using patrolling fighters and infantry to track vapour trails back to the missile silo and gun down the Hizbollah. Problem solved! The Hizbollah, gone, the civilians, alive, and Israel save its bombs for the nations all around, waiting to cut it up like some pie, and take a piece for themseves. Sorry about the zing thing, I just always wanted to say that

Really, people like you thought we were wrong in the 6 Day and Yom Kipur war, so I'm just going to pass you off as a holocaust denier.

And let us say, aaaaaaamennnn.
And to Minger and reality del dark, the later missiles were followed back to their source but there are hundreds of bases hidden in civillian towns. The payload that Hizbollah was armed with could have murdered millions, a couple hundred lives, while definiately regrettable, are worth the safety of millions of others.
