This post belongs in Flash Dev or Computer Tech.

Taking the game out of context and placing it into a word document or web page without explicit permission from Skye is illegal. If you do not understand that, you represent the majority of people out there. You must download firefox at http://www.getfirefox.com to improve your percieved IQ, as well as to continue beating down internet explorer.

HTML and Word format have to do with web programming, which you do not need to know. I recommend looking for HTML tutorials on the web, and then moving to JavaScript.

I doubt it...There is just some people who strongly feel firefox should be the dominant browser...And also, Joey, is it really illegal? Has Skye copyrighted any of his games?

It's not exactly 100% necessary to actually register something you've created as copyright. Naturally, it's your work, and thus no one else can (legally) steal it and claim it as their own. You don't often hear of a student copyrighting a recent paper he wrote. But if someone were to steal that paper for their personal benefit, it's illegal. Most companies register their software/products/whatever as copyrighted material just to have even further guaranteed insurance and protection from the government.

The answer is yes. It's illegal.

Aw, why do you always have to be right? (Proof he's right here) (http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ1.html)

The only reason one would officially copyright something is in the case of someone stealing it and claiming it their own. If they manage to distort the source (in the case of software) and images so that the original company's name can be found nowhere on or in the product, then there's nothing they can do to prove that the product belonged to them. Hence a legal copyright to make lawsuits much less of a hassle.
