Play Halo 1, the Play Halo 2.

Halo 1's story line is better.
Halo 1's Multiplayer is better

All they did was add some stuff in that people thought would be cool, like vehicles and guns.

For the people that don't have Live, you don't even need Halo 2 if you have Halo 1. If you don't have either, buy Halo 2 just for the cool extras like weapons and some vehicles, but other than that, Halo 1 has everything better.

I got the best strategy for the dual SMG Fire one only when it runs out use the other one while the other one is reloading.......I think u reload one at a time if not well just use both of em.

They toned it down a bit too much. It blows horribly. Same with the new assault rifle. The scorpion tank is unfair in Halo 2, once you get in it you're practically invincible. The Wraith is messed seeing as in missions, you see it shooting the normal stuff ghosts shoot, then when you get in it you can't shoot them... The storyline blows and is way too easy, I beat it the day I bought it.

In 'co op'? Cooperative play means you teamed with another player, though you said you claim you beat it by yourself (?). Please clear that up, Killer. Also, if you want a challenge beat the whole game (specifically the level 'Keyes') on Legendary SOLELY. Good luck. :)

i beat halo 1 in legendary 3 times in a day(with out any sleep over the course of 24 hours)

then in halo 2 i beat it in heroic (after i got rusty over time) in 2 days it's much longer but it stinks in the ending

Halo 2 is better than 1, simple, it's faster paced, more things to do, you get the banshee in multiplayer, you get live, you have new weapons, faster load times, better grapgics... better in every way, except that it clips every once in a while in singleplayer.. o well.

Don't have and Xbox, but I love Halo, but I'm not crazy for it...... I read all of the reviews and magazines about it, and to tell you the truth, I would rather wait to get an xbox and Halo 2 when they become Platinums for cheaper prices than 50 $. I mean seriousley you won't die if you wait an extra day, and get the Halo 2 without waiting in line for hours. It's not worth my time.

I would rather get a Nintendo DS though coming out next week! Yay ^_^. Well for christmas anyways, something to look forward too, beacause I lost my Gameboy SP and I want to play my GBA games without borrowing my little brothers SP......

It's all about the sword. Except that it uses 10 energy on per attack on the covenant, it roxx0rz! There is nothing more satisfying than trying to leap across a gap you couldn't possibly clear, locking on to your friend and lunging and killing him while he just looks at you dumb founded.

exactamundo. it was too powerful. i did like sniping people from the other side in boarding action with one and theyre all like "wtf wh0 teh fuggle is shooting me?" but double pistols is sooo awesome on halo2.
