Im going to start making a game. I suck at it but im tyring to. Im going to have to draw cars and some buildings. I might try to make it online so everyone can play. Anyone know a pixel program that makes games?

A pixel program. A program that you can make games in pixel. Like what your sig says bodadem.

You can draw with pixels in pretty much anything..including Good Ol' Paint...The game itself is made in Flash..

Um, why does it have to be pixelated? Vector is easier in my opinion.

Depends on what you want to do really. Vectors become easier when you're dealing with advanced code, but if you're doing something simple, pixels will do the job as well. And they'll make your game's size grow by an incredible amount >_<

But you can't make games with pixel makers, you can paint with them and copy the bitmaps over to Flash. And yes, Paint is a pixel making program... dunno if there are any better ones, I can't imagine what a pixel program could possible offer...

because raster games are more expected then vector, or XY games, simple as that ;-) there;s not many Vector games out there, and even less where accepted by fans asteroids, temptest, space duel computer space was the first vector game

photoshop is a pixel program..in my opinion, pixel ofer a lot more in efects..expecially because of adobe..coz flash, corel and vector programs dont make such efects..altought, as the lines are all calculated, you can transform the drawns..

well..vector makes the game run slower if you have many particles..with bitmap it doesnt hapend so quicly..in flash 8ball aparently they will auto render vector into bitmap to maximize performance..

look out for adobe or macromedia programs for a good pixel app..

I looked at PixxRPG and i was wondering if they have a release date. I could help with them instead but my art is bad. What can you do in PixxRPG anaways?

Better question - What can't you do..But no, they don't currently have a realease date, but don't be expecting it any time soon..We still have LOTS of work to do..

Actually, what can you do? Looks like a lot of walking around to me...

Still cool though. :D

Yeah, those previews are just showing walking around...But you will be able to do loads..When it eventually comes out..

Nice! I like the texturing.

You do have a few spots there where your "bricks" (pixel lines that are drawn in steps of two pixels across and one up) have an extra pixel. Might want to fix that up. I find that looking at it from a distance helps to find them.

You might also want to trim away the extra white around the image. :D

Yes. Those random three-blocks will need to be fixed if you want it to look normal..

Where are the blocks? I can't find them. I'm not very smart when it comes to pixel art.

Vengeance, GameMaker is for wanna-be game developers/programmers that are just too damn lazy to learn to program....I hate it. Makes programming look like a joke. And it's not. I hate you. I HATE YOU ALL!!!!
