That's really surprising. What's the normal retirement age in baseball? In football (soccer) it's about 32, but they run around a lot more, surely?

That wasn't Major Leauges, but that's amazing. The oldest Major Leauge Baseball player today is Julio Franco, on the Mets.
The age where baseball players usually retire is 36-43, although people like playing longer. I think Julio Franco is 48, or 49. He'll be 49 soon.

Julio is around 47-51. I don't say that because I am unsure of his age, but his listed age may be false. The numbers for him could be a bit sketchy.

I saw some old guy play volleyball on the beach. I overheard someone say "Wow, he's the greatest volleyball player that's 102 years old". That's more insane -_-
That's funny, because 2 weeks ago there was an 84-year old who was the oldest player.
