I heard a rumor that a new Star Wars movie is coming out. I don't really believe it. Did anyone else hear about it?

There's going to be 3 more.
(Maybe. 9 were planned.)

I doubt it. They made books that were supposed to be the 7,8,and 9 movies.
But I doubt it.

I remember hearing something about a prelude to our prelude(1,2,3).
The time set would be there with a young Yoda, during the Sith Wars. I picked it up off of a news update from sympatico.msn.com. I just saw it from the corner of my eye, and I just read the quick little caption.
I remmember now. Yes, I heard a rumour that there was going to be a movie WAY in the past than phantom menace. (Like what Prodigal said)

If they do realease what I wrote in my post above, it's gonna be full of action and things like that. Lots of Saber work.
I just hope we don't have to endure another love story...

A movie on KOTOR would be cool, but I don't think they would do that.

I think that when Lucas announced the first Star Wars, he announced 3, then 3 prequels, then 3 sequels, so it is possible.

There's currently an amateur movie being made that bridges the gap between the first three and the second three.
I can't remember the name right now, however

Perhaps you're referring to the new Classic Edition dvds?
Other than that, nothing's been announced.

In a distant galaxy... far, far away, somebody actually gives a damn that a new Starwars movie or Final Fantasy game is coming out.

Someone is making the existing Star Wars in 3D, or so says Popular Science.

I saw that article.
We're going to be watching movies at 140+ fps. Subliminal messaging, anyone?

What is the point of 100+ fps? The human eye can only tell to 60-80 fps, any higher and there is no change, any lower and you can see the delay.

Much smoother movement.
Even the fastest things are in smooth movement.
Also, they can slide in a few subliminal messages without us knowing...

There's a new 3D technology that uses it. You know how everything in a 3d movie is red and blue? This new technology will separate them. One will be one fram and another will be the next frame, alternating. This will make the 3d much more enjoyable and it won't look like crap.

Agreed.
About the subliminal messages, I think that subliminal advertising is illegal in the U.S.
There are guidelines about it somewhere. I can't remember where I saw it, though.
