Before I begin, Slavehack and actual hacking are fairly unrelated, the most you could compare between the two is script kiddy'ing.

For anybody who hasn't visited the IRC lately (See: Nearly everyone), Slavehack is a text based hacking game, but it differes from the other text based games (Darkthrone, Hobowars etc.) by the fact that there are no turns, thus, what you get out of the game is very much related to how much time you put in, not absolutely, but very much so.

The game is centered around 3 bases mostly, hacking, downloading and slaves.

Hacking is the actual going into servers or getting into other people's, your ability to hack is dependant on your computer and the level of hacking (Or here, it's brute forcing, which kinda reiterates my point about script kiddy'ing) software you have, hacking into servers and people's computers garners you slaves and gives you software you can download.
The speed (measured in seconds) that it takes you to hack into a server depends on the server's security and your hacking software, the higher the version, the faster the hacking.

Downloading is the downloading of software from servers and other people's computers, downloading better software allows you to hack into better defended systems faster and manipulating slaves and files better.
The speed (measured in seconds) that it takes you to download a file depends on your download speed, the server's/computer's upload speed and the size of the file, the better the connection, the faster the download.

Slaves are computers and servers of which you know the admin password, you can do a few things with slaves, such as using them for DDoS attacks or using them for autospam programs, to get money.
The more slaves you have, the more money you can collect, which allows you to upgrade your compuer, and the easier access you have to software, should someone delete yours.
The efficiency of the slave depends on the slave computer/server's CPU and how many other people are using that slave, the better the CPU and the less other people, the better the performance.

Remember to completely erase everything in the logs of the servers you access. That way people won't figure out your IP and kill you =<.

The odd thing is, is that I do delete the logs files of everywhere I go. Still happens. Even changed my ip and afterwhile I started getting hacked again. I suppose I might need better equipment to download faster and delete faster but it hard to make any money when all my programs get deleted.

Haha, I presume you're trying to do that because of the newbie guide. 1.1.1.1 is just an example he uses. 1.1.1.1 is a NPC public server where you first start off getting your basic files and solving riddles. You'll want to find an acutal players IP to upload the vspam to. Just make sure that when you do, you delete all the logs of where ever you've logged into.

I used to be uber 1337 at this game, top 50, 2.0 everything.

But the the meteor hit.
They changed the way the highscores were ranked, I dropped to 79.
I got hacked, still had viruses on many computers, but didn't have a good enough mailer to retrieve them, so they sat, gaining me money that I could not retrieve.

I desperately searched for a 2.0 wwl to hack the best servers and get my stuff back, but alas, no luck. PM after PM I sent to Tanktunker, Ehntoo, and others. No avail. No one had a 2.0 wwl that they could upload me.
So one by one, the slaves deleted my virus, I was forced to change my IP.

So now I sit, no slaves, waiting. Waiting for someone to upload me a high wwl so I can get back on track.
(I also have dozens of bank accounts and their passwords)

Anyone wishing to help, PM me. I WILL NOT pay you.
