View Full Version : RULES, Read before posting here!

Please DO NOT spam here. I know everyone is excited about the new release of motherload, but do not begin spamming topics or posts here.

-If you have a question about the game, first check the instructions, then look for a post here that may ask the same question. If you can not find the answer to your question, then you may post a topic asking.

-Do not make topics saying things like "Im at 5,000 feet!", "I just made 1,000,000!", "I beat the game again!". Please only make topics that will add something to this forum.

Titles of topics should explain what the topic is about. Please do not make topics with non-related names.

Don't use swear words! (Or anything that is insenstive or obviously offensive.)

This seems to be the forum with the most swearing of all. The rules are important. And not swearing is one of them.

If you feel the need, please use all asterisks. For example:

Normal Word: Cheese

Random Swear Word: ********

Also important: We've never had this problem with the other games, as there was nothign to spoil, but DO NOT PUT ENDING SPOILERS IN THE TOPIC TITLE. Also, if your post has spoilers in it, make sure to *mark* that fact in the topic title with a *SPOILERS* tag.

If you have any questions, or comments, please post them here, and i will answer them ASAP.

Yes, and do not post any dumb topic that has an obvious answer like that guy who got banned recently for being unreasonably rude to other people. Anyone I mean anyone who starts insulting people and telling them to go home or to leave the forum should be at least a warning.

And, I definitley think that Kerry is right. No SPAMMING! Everyone hates it and it's a waste of posts. So stop the spamming for the new people out there!

It will happen anyway; Those banned will just leave before begginging. :?

Human nature, I guess.

Yeah like that adamatus guy, what a jerk..... I really think that he deserved to be banned, not only because he insulted people, but he told the MODs to ban the people telling him to cool off, and that they were to go home and stuff.

He really needed a time out.

It's adapus, and he's been here (and been banned) before. In the fishy forum. It was hilarious. "IF YOU DON"T DO MY CONTEST I WILL BAN VOTE YOU AND REPORT YOU!11"

Geez, I think he forgot to take his pill or something because that's just completely stupid and poitnless.

He later said his sister had done it on his account, or maybe it was the other way around.

(>_<)

But he's gone now. Actually, I kind of think it would have been funny to keep him here.

And in other news: I think we can make posts about anything, just not topics... So what we're doing is fine 'long as we don't start spamming.

Yeah, I don't think that's going to be possible (or plausible)... People will read them anyway. It's like a neon sign that says "Read this, you shouldn'!"...

I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but is it spamming when you look at the page, and you rest the same name on every last post?

And if I may add to Kerry's eloquent explanation of the forum rules, I say to you:

Don't use swear words! (Or anything that is insenstive or obviously offensive.)

This seems to be the forum with the most swearing of all. The rules are important. And not swearing is one of them.

You know... its sad. More people have viewed the announcement about the saving/loading working than have looked at this rules page... Maybe that's life, though. I guess not many people own a book about the laws in their state or country... That's why we have jails.

A large number of people are not putting the word *spoiler* in the topic and some are even putting the spoiler in the title. It's really sad that people read the rules and then flagrantly disregard them.

It's worse when people just don't read the rules. Not that anyone can tell the difference.

I would think that they do not read the rules at all. To tell the truth, when I first came here, I didn't. But I was courteous, and that's basically the idea of any set of rules.

True, I only read the rules recently myself, but I still knew them just because people were constantly saying what they were.

Blixinator

just to make sure I understand spoilers keep people who haven't beaten the game from getting info on the ending

Sperry
01-19-2005, 04:17 PM
a spoiler is something that gives away the ending. like walking out of star wars 30 years ago aand saying "i never knew darth vader was luke's father" would be a spoiler for the people in line. the notification of "*spoiler*" warns you of them

Blixinator
