so im 3000 ft underground right?
during this trip i filled my stock with gold and einestien,i found treasure, an artifact, and a dino bone
im about to go up and i see this red stuff, looks kinda like a ruby or something, i dunno ive never seen it before, so i go into it AND I EXPLODE! later i figure out what it is, lava....LAVA! ive never seen it before so how should i know what it is
so a 2 ideas:
tell us what everything looks like
and, so we dont spend 10000 dollers just to find out we coulda bout the 25000 doller one cause we found something, be able to sell the stuff you have for money, that way we wont waste money

You are warned about lava in a com message before you get to the depth that it occurs. Also, if one lava killed you then you are not being cautious enough with your health. If you think lava is unfair just wait until you get into gas pocket (looks like normal dirt) range...

Gas pockets SUCK! Especially in the beta when you couldn't save.

I had a full platinum hull... gone. 3 hours of work... gone. :(

But now we can save, so be happy! :P

As a beta tester, I can safely say after completing the game that you can't reglect your radiator. Usually, the hull becomes inferior to it. It's apparently an all too common problem that people don't buy a good radiator. One would think a decent hull will save you from a gas pocket. Wrong. A radiator reduces the damage a gas pocket does to you, and seeing how these 'gas pockets' occur later in your adventures, it would seem like a useless gadget to own.

In addition, I recommend carrying many Healing-Nanobots. This way, you won't waste time in-between gas pockets. Also, with dynamite or plastic explosives, it is very likely you destroy some pockets in the surrounding area (about 5000+ ft. below, or so).

Don't neglect your radiator. Also, please change the length of the thread title -- it is apparently ruining the whole forum. Thanks :)

Well now you know to stay away from lava and BTW when you get w=around 5000 ft... Muahhahahaha BOOM! You blow up for no reason at all. And you'll probably die from it. It's a gas bubble.
