Website - What do the people want?

Well, I decided, that because I'm pretty good at html and I have Dreamweaver, that I'd make a website. But I don't know what the people want. Give me some sugestions. Also, I will need someone who is really good and photoshop and can make me a layout. If no one can, I will end up using Doh's already made layout which is really good.

Just put a site together that you like. There are bound to be people who will like it. The hard part is getting traffic...

I know, but I want feedback from alot of the members here. I'm sure I could come up with something unoriginal like a game website, but I would have no chance against sites like Newground, Addictinggames and Miniclip.

well, have you ever tried to make a site in DW that's HTML Transitional 4.01 compliant out of the box without tearing the code up and then patching it together?

I dare you... if you can make a decent-looking site that's html compliant hot *or should I say lukewarm?* off of DW, I'll give you 500 XCash.

Because it's easy to use for people who don't know how to use HTML that well.

And you can sometimes make better sites with say DW then Flash.

I know how to use HTML perfectly well, but I use DW because it's much easier, and codes a lot neater than I am capable of doing.

It just seems like alot of it is possible with flash. For example, you could do all the stuff at TBC's site in flash without using a whole different program.
