Yes, it's been released.

Finally... it's MUCH better than 0.9, and that's saying something. Only one problem, and that's a lack of compatibility with older themes/extensions, but this will improve within a couple weeks.

wgetting right now, thanks for the tip noclue. My home page is the firefox main page, but since they changed the theme of that page it no longer has a section declaring updates and whatnot. So thanks for the heads up...I'm actually surprised I found out from here first.
Edit: Yeah man, this is really nice. I didn't like 0.9 so I had downgraded to 0.8...but this is really nice. Adblock still works like a charm as well!

faulty, compatible, slow windows xp and its standard IE...which is broken and insecure right now and always will be but ill attempt to fix it but I'll end up switching to Firefox anyway, as there's simply to reason to fix it. Linux is next
There, I corrected it a bit. Now it seems more... real.
No, of course there's no edit here. That's a... server bug >_> I think Jordan should check this out, like immediately >_>.

IE...*Laughs*. If you prefer IE over FireFox you need to get like your brain checked or something lol, I can't find one feature better on IE that on FireFox...not one. Even Firefox has bugs, but the bugs still work better than IE which practically is a bug. And I myself use Windows XP only for compatibility. If Linux was compatible with everything that Windows was, I'd definitely switch. I'm sick of unstable windows crashing every hour.
Edit:Just downloaded it and using it right now. Anyone else notice a huge speed boost or is that just me?

Actually, XP's been rather stable for me. I've had some problems with games, which ironically don't happen with linux simply because they aren't compatible with it :-p
But i have discovered that the Shockwave 10.something or another plugin doesn't work with Firefox 1.0. It worked with 0.9, but apparently still has some problems in this one. Flash works fine, however.

Welp my windows also has no problems. And let's remember, FireFox SHOULD be better than IE considering IE is just a packaged part of windows made by the same group of people that created windows. FireFox was made by a group that wanted to specially make an interenet browser therefore spending much more time on the program than M$ people did on theirs.

IE is a broken program... and it's actually not "standard", seeing as it isn't standards compliant in any aspect. It's engine for html is neither HTML 4.01 compliant nor XHTML compliant, it doesn't use CSS correctly, and along with other things, it's a plain old horror for webdesigners.
