Has anyone on here read any books about bands and musicians, At the moment i am reading the dirt the autobiography of Motley crue.

The book explains everything theve been through like when the bassist asked his manager if he can have sex with his girlfriend, he politly let him ofcourse.

I was thinking in a later stage getting the autobiography of red hot chilli peppers its called scar tissue.

I also have the book of Rock, showing the best rock bands.

cheers

Only because a band is in a "Book of Rock", or a rapper in a "Book of Rap", etc. etc. doesn't mean they are amongst the best. Let's not forget that even if the book was brought together by the population through a voting proccess, they did not get all the possible votes, and composing a book of the best bands or best songs or best whatever, isn't a feasable task.
Concerning your other question, I read the autobiography of Bob Marley and heard it (his songs man, it's all. About. The. Songs!), the autobiography of Rod Stewart and many others, too great of a number to remember the exact amount (No, I don't have free time. Yes, I did read them when I was supposed to be paying attention in class).

I look up artists on Wikipedia. of course they're not autobiographies, but it's enough information for me. Plus, you don't have to buy the book.
