I have a problem, and have had it for a long time. Take a look here: http://phptest.mybesthost.com/bullet.html
It explains the problem there. How would I go about changing that? Why is it changed in the first place?

Well, you can use your own custom bullet graphic...
<ul style="list-style-image:url(bullet.gif)">
<li>list #1</li>
<li>list #2</li>
</ul>

It's not like I can edit the sites that use bullets. It's not only when I edit html. It's on any site.

I see...
Have you tried using a different browser?

I would, 'cept it isn't my computer. It's my dad's.. I really don't want to download anything.

Try playing around with the Font size, under "View -> Font Size" or something like that.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. Change the font size. Why are the bullets such a big deal anyways? I would say chnage it to "Really really small font" mode :-D.

It just pisses me off.. the font size does nothing.

Maybe that portion of the default browser font got somehow erased/corrupted or overwritten in the font file?
Try changing the browser's font to see if that does the trick. Also, somewhat in that same vain, try downloading the default font fresh and overwriting the old files in your font directory.

..I tried the first one, but I don't know how I'd go about the second..

It should be under, C:\Windows\fonts Just replace the existing version there.

I mean what would I replace it with? Where can I download Times New Roman from?
..I know where the fonts are, Darc. I've been a Windows user since I was six.

I don't know about you, but I'm not willing to pay $42.00 just to fix some silly little bullet problem.

Just...get it from someone else? Have them e-mail it to you, send it zipped over AIM...shouldn't be hard.

You had to ask your Dad to download FireFox? Lol, are they like way over-protective parents or something?

I had a problem with a bullet on my site...
I just re-did the <font> tags around it. It worked, but I've no clue why.

..It isn't my computer.
I'm using my Dad's Laptop that he uses for work right now, and I download all sorts of crap onto it, including Firefox.

Since this thread is kind of about fonts...
Is there a limit to the amount of fonts on your computer? I keep unzipping fonts to the correct folder, but they don't show up in any programs. This seriously is lame (fonts are my entire life, m'kay?).
Anybody have an idea what could be the trouble?

I don't know of any limitation. Sometimes your computer just gets lazy and doesn't actually read the font database when you start a program. Try having the fonts dir open (c:\windows\fonts) in a window when you open a program. That always did the trick for me.

It's not going in to the folder at all.
I.E., I unzip it to there, and WinZip doesn't give me any errors, but the font doesn't show (even when I just bring up the folder).
A look at the properties says I have about 540 fonts. That doesn't seem like a reasonable limit (if they were to put a limit at all).
ScientistBlah

That's because usually when you download fonts, it will create a folder for the font. You have to go to the folder, find the font file and move it into C:\Windows\Fonts And a little thing will pop up saying something like "Installing Fonts".

That seems pretty redundant... but it works. Why wouldn't they just... put in the font?
Oh, and windows wasn't showing the folders... they were hidden. Double-stupid.
